We love CCA! My child has attended this school for Pre-K, Kinder and now 2nd grade. I am very happy with his academic and social progress. I am an elementary school teacher who has worked in middle, high and now elementary school. I am so thankful for Christians schools like CCA that teach the Word of God and Jesus Christ as foundation of wisdom and truth. AND they are also giving the children a high quality education that moves more quickly and thoroughly than public school can do these days. They use ABEKA- a great, phonics based time tested curriculum. We LOVE the teachers, admin, and especially the owners who have such a heart for the children, education and the Lord. This school is a hidden gem. We make a financial sacrifice to come here but it is MORE than worth it. I have homeschooled and taught in public school for a total of 19 years. CCA is truly a treasure and their Christmas concern with African music and dance is just awesome. The content, manners, instruction, philosophy and discipline difference between public and private schools are worlds apart- trust me, I've seen it from the inside. Until public school leave humanism and soft communism behind- your child is much more SAFE at home or in private school!

They are also wishing and planning to add more upper level grades. At this time, CCA offers classes Pre-K - Grade 5.

My previous review went missing. When we moved back to the area this summer, we were looking for summer camp and 1st grade class for our daughter.

I was highly disappointed with our tour of this school. When we arrived, they forgot that we had booked an appointment for a tour, which I can be understanding to, they were in summer camp and that can get crazy. But the looks we received from the staff were not favorable. It was far from a welcoming or informative experience. From this tour, I did not feel a Christian atmosphere was present, however, I couldn't get a lot of information about the Christian piece of the school day.

The tour provided little insight into the school, academics, christian values, or the experience that we would have if we attended. As a previous educator who has provided school tours, I did have expectations but also grace as every tour and school will be different.

The principal couldn't be bothered to speak with us, looking down at us, no greeting, just she was busy. Fair, you are head of the school, however, the school we did select, I had an amazing experience with the principal, night and day difference.

She passed us along to the previous teacher that my child would have had, who was leaving the school, she had some insight into the curriculum, but didn't leave me with a feeling that my child would have a successful academic year. When we inquired about the new teacher, that they said that they had hired, had no idea of her credentials or background. I'm not expecting you to have it memorized, but I do expect to have my questions answered if you would like me to send my child to your school.

We were considering the summer camp, however, couldn't get any information, and zero follow up from our "tour". My daughter who is 6 said as soon as we walked out, please don't make me go there. I think this is extremely telling to the experience that we had. The facility and playground are fairly new and I wanted to like this school.
