I have had 3 children at this school and each one was a different situation. Overall the school has issues with dealing with bullying, but other than that the education there was good. I really love the kindergarten teachers!!!

There are good and bad teachers at this school. As with most schools. It is hard for the teachers to concentrate on good students though when there is bad students in the class...the ratio makes it the hardest.

They need a better way to handle their anti-bullying policy. I don't feel they really do much as far as discipline...it is more rewarding, but that is my opinion.

Same as I said before...they could use some better ways to handle bullying children and their bullying parents.

Our experience with PES has been wonderful. The staff and teachers, so far, have been very engaged with the students and easy to work with.

PES is OK, but there is room for improvement. I believe the Principal and Assistant Principal do their best for the children, however the teachers & staff are 50/50. You have half of them who enjoy teaching and caring for all the children's need and you have the other half who are not diverse especially when it comes to the minority children. These teachers prefer to live in the 1930's, 40's and 50's etc when schools were segregated and those type of views have no place in 2014 especially when teaching future generations. I may move to switch districts since I've been told of better experiences for minorities at King George Elementary. PES teachers & some staff please change your attitudes and be fair and respectful to all students & parents. If you experience bad behavior from a few please deal with those few directly and not judge or label a group.

This is a great school. I have my second child there. My oldest came thru PES and is now in HS and in Governors School. The principa and Assistant Principal are great. However, it is quite clear the office staff needs to counseled on professionalism. I have lost count in the number of times I have called and no one in the office could answer my question. I think it would help if they were on a level of continuous process improvement or even put on a performance improvement plan.
