Kailua Beach 1

There is a reason Kailua has been named the best beach in the country numerous times in a row! The crystal blue water and powder white sand is a dream. Get there early to get a good spot that isn't packed with tourists (the downside to it being named the best beach in the country). In Kailua town, there are lots of restaurants and shops to explore and the town is very pedestrian-friendly. I also recommend renting a bike (or bringing your own!) and exploring on wheels.
