This is the quintessential beach town of Hawaii and home to the famed big waves of Oahu's North Shore. There are lots of shops, restaurants and souvenir places to visit, but the real MUST-DO here is seeing Waimea Bay and getting some shave ice at Matsumoto's. Don't worry, the line for shave ice moves pretty quickly! I would also recommend and acai bowl from Haleiwa Bowls, Thai food from Opal Thai and the coffee at Island Vintage is pretty tasty!
