Location: Rock Island Arsenal Garrison (USAG-RIA) is an active U.S. Army facility located on a 946-acre island in the Mississippi River, between Davenport, Iowa and Rock Island, Illinois. The Arsenal is located in an area known as the 'Quad Cities', a once thriving riverboat community. Today, Rock Island Arsenal Garrison is our nation's largest government owned and operated arsenal.

Schools: None on post. Children living on post attend the Moline, Illinois School District. Specifically, elementary students attend Franklin Elementary, Junior High students attend Wilson Middle School and high school students attend Moline High School. The Rock Island Arsenal provides school bus transportation to these designated Moline Schools. In addition, the School-age program provides busing to/from the before and after school program to the Bettendorf School District elementary and middle schools.
