I have two special needs children that attend this school and the staff has truly gone above and beyond in helping accommodate them and support their learning environment.

Orion is a complete nightmare. Our daughter has been bullied repeatedly. We've spoken to the principle, nothing was done. This school is by far the worst school that my child has attended. We are looking forward to moving away from Orion elementary & the unprofessional staff attached to it. My family & I have been mistreated & disrespected repeatedly. It's very sad, especially since this school has military families who go here. The principle should be fired. They need to hire a complete new staff who actually cares about the children who attend. One of the employees was seen videotaping a child on her cell phone during recess time. I wanted to warn other parents of the type of behavior coming from employees at this school. This is a very unprofessional environment & I can't wait for our daughter to be done with this year.

This is a terrible school. The principle should NOT even be a principle. She is extremely rude, as well as some of the staff. They don't care for the well being of your children at this facility. One of the staff members has harassed my child, continually, & the school does nothing about it. I'm taking my child out of this place & we are going to warn other parents of the horrible behavior from employees at this school.

We transferred with 3 months left in the school year and from day 1, we have had a positive experience. The class room size is around 20 kids and my child is learning more about music, gym, reading, writing, and math than at their previous school. The 3rd grade teacher is awesome!

We use to love this school. It was a big happy family. The staff have always been wonderful. The new Principal has changed this school for the worse. The staff doesn't look happy anymore. I have witnessed her talking disrespectful to staff members. She puts them down. This lady has to go. She is ruining a great school. We are going to pull our kids out until she leaves. We have talked to several other who feel the same way.

I have been really pleased with the special education pre-school program. My son's teacher is Miss Libby and she is wonderful with the children. She has a structured enviroment and she always has a smile on her face. I am not familiar w/ the elementary program, but the current principal seems really friendly. The school nurse is accessible and highly organized.
