my grasndchild attended this school... complaining of not able to understand teachers, therefore, having a difficult time learning; not completing the 7th grade year at 4th Ave, I enrolled her at Centenial Middle School; what a difference in her grades as well as her wanting to go to school because she not only enjoyed attending school but also loved the faculty and staff; couldn't say that about 4th Ave; she now attends HS maintaining a B+ grade; TOO BAD because both my children attended 4th Ave and my grandchild's siblings also attended 4th Ave; she being the youngest whated to follow in same steps as older sisters and brother; needless to say, when Principal Casares (sp?) became principal and got rid of GOOD teachers such as Phillips, Powry to name a few - he also lost the ability to keep up the rating acceptable to being a good school;
