As a student, I am writing this review to highlight how unsafe this school is for female students. When a boundary is crossed, the school handles it with an insanely low amount of regard for that student and when they ask for updates, they are often given dismissive and vague answers to leave serious incidents behind just because they cant hold accountability. Media shows similar results of the school dismissing things like assaults and failing to notify the victims legal guardians or police if the event is serious. If you are a female student or a parent of one, please be aware that this is an unreliable institution when it comes to safety of students. You are completely alone and you have to advocate for yourself with no support from the school.

As a former student, this school is horrible especially if you're a person of color. They don't do anything about racism, homophobia, bullying, and sexism. They also made me feel like I had to do absolutely amazing because all my siblings went there before me. Don't put your child in this school if they already have a bad mental health. The staff also lack professionalism. I've witnessed the office ladies giving me rude looks and even saying profanity even though it is discouraged in this school.

This school was horrible for me and ruined my mental health. They did almost nothing about racism or bullying. When I went to a new school, my mental health improved. Also, the principal would always target me because my siblings went there before me and it was honestly exhausting.

From the teachers to the principal great school all around! Mr. Tyndall is a person I had the pleasure to meet with, that goes above an beyond for the students and really cares about making a difference. I'm very happy my son got to experience his 8th grade here.

My son attends this school. The teachers work very hard to help students succeed. Many programs are offered like Avid, student council, awc educational talent search, national junior honor society,And other activities like tutoring are available.

I also use to go to this school. My 11 year old started today. He loves it he says. My 19year oldliked it as well.

So, besides these comments made by teachers years ago, no recent updates? I guess the school either has nothing exeptional to offer or this site is useless.
