I loved the two years my son went to school there. He grew so much as a person and academically. He is beyond ready for Kindergarten next year.

Homework was enough to show me what he was working on in class and how well he was doing. It was nothing that took more then 10 minutes.

All the teachers were so encouraging and my sons biggest cheerleaders.

With class sizes being so small, they make sure that they can teach in many different ways so all the children can learn effectively

This school has great communication and very supportive teachers. It is easy to speak with a teacher about any concerns you may have. The principal is also readily available and very kind. They make sure each child learns what they are teaching regardless.there is a chance to learn everybody in the school because it is so small it is like a family. They accept everybody no matter how different you are

The school sends homework that they already know what to do with. And never send too much

The teachers are very tentative. They are very involved in the child's education. If one on one is needed they will fulfill it. They truly care about each and every student they have

They teach to respect others. Class size is 7/8 so they learn each other's characters as well

I believe the bible is the word of God! And these kids get those teachings. Respect your parents and God is happy. All the schools teaching are age appropriate.

Small classes 13 to 15 students max and a shared aide gave a lot of one on one with my child. I was very happy that he is only 5 and can read. Sounding words out on his own! He can also count to 100, knows all shapes and colors. That took an amazing dedication from his teacher to help her students achieve reading skills at only 4 to 5 years old.

My son learned so much his first year of school here at the Learning Pad. I hope that people can see how well prepared this school is for educating your child. The kids have fun and 4 & 5 years old kids learn to read! Phonics is a huge base of learning at the Learning Pad Preschool. The ABeka curriculum is used and is well rounded. I love this school and would recommend it to anyone wanting to lay a great foundation for their child.

We started at this school in 2014, since then the school has had 4 different teachers in the 3 year old class and Kindergarten class, they have had 2 different teachers in the 4 year old 3 day class, 8 different teacher aides, and 3 different directors! The constant turn over and negative attitude from the board members and pastor have made our last year there awful. I will not be sending my youngest child here and have already put her on waiting lists at other schools. The board members don't have any interest in the school and are just church members. They do not want any contact with the parents or to even hear about any complaints parents may have about the constant turn over. Parents are to seen, but not heard! If you want to have a say in your child's education and to know what is happening in the school DO NOT send your child here

My oldest son had and IEP which was given to the director at the beginning of the year. She did not allow her teacher to implement anything on his IEP, the teacher and aide found ways to work with him but were not supported by the director

We have been lucky with the teachers my boys have had, but the different directors have been teaching children different ideals than before. My 4 year old told me I was going to hell because I had a beer, which was told to him by the current director

There has been a constant turn over of teachers besides 2... this year the kindergarten had 3 different teachers. That is not effective teaching and that does not create an environment for learning

This is a terrific preschool. My now 1st grader was very well prepared for kindergarten and my daughter is currently in preschool at The Learning Pad. The staff is very dedicated and responsive to concerns and they really make the school feel like a community.

My only complaint about this school is that I didn't start my children there sooner! The Director is very hands on, a ray of sunshine and very efficient. The teachers are involved, in LOVE with their kids, and very structured. I like the smaller class sizes, the professional attire and the curriculum. If I could give MORE stars I would.

Huge letdown. the curriculum was poor, staff was unmotivated and the environment was not welcoming. I will be looking elsewehere for my daughter when she's old enough.

Our son went to pre-school and Kindergarten here. We LOVED it. . He blossomed here. He was loved and well-educated. We have left Yuma and moved into one of the top school districts in the nation in VA. He was well prepared and did not have to catch up. The teachers are wonderful, the director is wonderful, and the community is wonderful. It was a long commute from our house to the foothills, but so worth it! This school is in a class by itself in Yuma.

Our family absolutely adores this school! We have two children attending, one in pre-k and one in kindergarten. The teachers are excellent, they challenge their students while attending to students' individual needs. The families are very involved and the school itself has become one big family for us! We would not send our children anywhere else! Also, they are expanding to include higher grades...next year they will have pre-k thru 2nd grade!

Both my girls have attended this school and are Kindergarten graduates. My boy starts in the fall and I'm very excited for him. I wouldn't send my preschooler to any other school.
