This school tries hard. As a former student I can list more pros than cons to this school. I wouldnt say Im troubled but I did have my share of base instances where I was able to seek out a therapist and get the help I needed while on campus. There are many great teachers and counselors at this school that really make an impact. The largest downside to this school is the kids. The kids make this school intolerable. From the constant bullying to the fights and even sometimes threats. The teachers and staff implement new policies every year to help better the experience and they do a great job of adapting. There are even safe zones on campus for students to go during lunches to have a safe spot to eat and hang out. (Definitely recommend)

This school gives soo much homework that it takes 7 days to finish but the teachers five us 2 days which stresses me out. The bullying problem is very bad I see kids get bullied almost every day.

Both of my sons graduated from CEHS. Both also graduated from Portland State University and immediately got jobs. One recently started his PhD in Biomedicine. He was one of 15 students out of 800 to be selected for this program. The other pursued his interest in finances and has a job he loves. This should speak volumes for the preparation they had at Clovis East. While no school is perfect and there are many other factors that contribute to how the children will turn out, I am proud of them. CEHS is a solid school with dedicated teachers who make a difference in your children's lives.

Clovis East and Reyburn are excellent schools. My son has had excellent experiences at both. The school experience there is what you make of it. My son has made wonderful friends and enjoys the many programs C.E. offers. The teachers there are VERY DEDICATED! They work hard building successful students. Mr. Sandoval and all of the administrators are caring and compassionate and truly want to do what is best for the the students there. I wouldn't have my son attend anywhere else.

I'm a student and let me tell you this school may look nice on the outside but it's pretty bad on the inside. Many teachers don't teach very well if at all. Teachers definitely play favorites. This school has many cliques so its VERY hard socially if you're a new kid like I was sophomore year. The reason I didn't give it one star is because it looks nice and they seems to keep it fairly clean.

As a former student, I miss East so much. I was at Clovis East for 3 years and while it does have its ups and downs, it is a lot better than my current school. The dress code is strict but for the good of the students. 80% of my teachers were amazing. It is always up to the student to put in the work and if you don't do it, you will obviously fail. The teachers give you what you need and then it's all up to you. The campus is beautiful and you can find friends in all corners. While there are always bad parts like in any school, I believe that this was a great school to attend.

Not to my expectations. A couple of my kid's teachers don't teach. If you care about your child's education, this is not the school for your child. Counselors don't help you or the student. They're always out of their office when my kid goes to see them. Horrible...will not be continuing with my other kids.

Clovis East has beautifully kept grounds and is one of the only schools in Clovis with a complete agricultural farm on campus. Academics are priority and students are given the resources necessary to excel. Teachers are great with parent communication and availability. Student dress-code and campus rules are strictly enforced and (in my opinion) overly so. Safety issues are one thing and certainly encouraged, however I have received phone calls for such concerns as hugs. Strange, indeed.

This school is way to strict with it's dress code. I get it's for the safety of the students but they push it to much. It sucks going to a school everyday thinking your going to get in trouble for your jeans having a tiny hole in them or your hair a centimeter below your eyebrows little stuff like that. Overall tho the school safety is good, and a few teachers care about the students.
