I have now had all four of my daughters graduate from La Reina, It has been a safe place for girls to learn, grow and increase their confidence in who they are. You dont need to be a straight A student to get into La Reina, but you sure seem to be one when you leave. My girls all had amazing college choices and successful college careers. You dont have to be Catholic to attend, but you will learn about Cathoic teching and in turn better understand your own faith. I think in the end it is the girls themselves that push each other to do well.

My experience with La Reina has been nothing but positive. From the perspective of an alum, I learned skills that served me well in my years after graduating. I was able to test out of certain college courses and Ive always felt comfortable doing presentations and speaking in public. Digging deeper, I feel as the teachers, staff, and fellow students taught me to be better person. It was a positive environment where women were given the chance to lead. It allowed me to imagine myself in leadership positions and I truly believe I wouldnt have found that sense of self in another school.

Working in education, we did A LOT of research prior to sending our girls to La Reina. The main factors that helped us decide on La Reina were:
- small class sizes
- personal relationship with the admin
- strong college acceptance / personal college counselor

Our familys experience at La Reina was positive. I recommend.

I sent my three daughters to La Reina and am so impressed by the education they received. I've remained a volunteer and am impressed by the leadership. Tony and Maggie are committed to supporting young women through education and ensuring they are supported socially, emotionally and spiritually. The teaching staff is an incredible mix of tenured teachers (there for 20+ years) and bright new teachers. Overall, La Reina was the perfect fit for my girls and I am so grateful that they attended.

P.S. My middle daughter graduated from college in 3.5 years because of AP courses she took at La Reina!

I have two Juniors at this school. My daughters have attended since the 7th grade.
I could not be happier with the school and the education my girls are getting.
The teachers are caring and want them to succeed. I have one who struggles a bit in math and since her first not so great grade on her math test- the teacher was always willing to give her help after school and during lunch! She still struggles in math- but has learned how to approach studying and has improved so much in the subject.
That is the kind of kind and caring teachers are. They go the extra mile for our kids!
The school itself has seen many changes over the last 10 years- some good- some not- but the teaching has never changed - has always been top notch.
The school is a small school, but still offers great courses for the students and the care and love that is put in by the teachers is also put in by the other staff members. This is a school where everyone knows your student!
Clubs and extra curriculars are offered and vary across many different areas. If the school does not have a club- they are open to students suggesting one.

Our experience at La Reina has been average. For the money paid for private school the teachers could be more helpful and responsive. A few times we contacted via email where the teachers were less than helpful and not friendly or professional in their responses. The best part about La Reina is the school spirit, albeit heavily laden in religion since it is a Catholic school. The educational instruction however, is lacking with the tenured teachers stuck in their ways and several unwilling to help clarify instruction on difficult sections when asked. Our daughter has not been happy attending here for the majority of this year due to a handful of the teachers and their lack of helpfulness.

Majority of class syllabi stated no more than 30min per class of homework a night but haven't found that to be the case. It's usually more and my daughter is up late getting it all done. One positive is parents and students can check their homework and test grades that are posted online as assignments are completed.

Tenured teachers lack enthusiasm. Math teacher told daughter to look in the book when directly asked if she could provide help for a difficult section. One English teacher was let go this year for not following school guidelines. Very unimpressed with the teachers at this school.

Overall, excellent. My sister is a graduate and my daughter is a Sophmore. The education environment builds them while teaching them to play to their strengths. I have spent hours overhearing my daughter have intelligent face-time discussions with her friends and classmates. Sometimes just for fun, not even an assignment.

A new administration came in in 2017-18 and has really changed the culture of the school in a short time. The previous, short-lived administration was poor and hurt the admissions and reputation of the school considerably, but they seem to have it back on track.

Administration very weak and lacks direction ever since the nun's left. Doesn't have the Catholic school feel. My daughter, a Catholic, felt like a minority in this school. Staff seems to care more about political correctness than about adhering to Catholic principals.

Teachers lack any type of training with learning differences. The school does not follow the Catholic Inclusion policy. It only provides the bare minimum, making it impossible for students with learning differences to keep up with their classes.

This school is a poor example of a Catholic school. The majority of students come from wealthy families, and constantly flaunt their wealth. There is little compassion,kindness, or camaraderie. Prayer was no longer practiced before meals, and the youth ministry was terminated. Students of other faiths are constantly challenging religion teachers, and they respond with political correctness, not with Catholic doctrine! My daughter said her religion class was more like a debate class. She, not her teacher, was constantly defending her Catholic faith. The teachers were horrible! Academics were rigorous forms of memorization, not critical thinking. Teachers showed no compassion for students with learning differences! That is total hypocracy coming from a Catholic school! Not the Catholic school experience we hoped for! A waste of money!!!!!

The good teachers were fired, and the tenured teachers, with no passion for teaching are still there. Many teachers are underqualified, and are not innovative. Mostly lecture based, with no technology for visual learners. Teachers are not trained to understand or identify learning differences, and have no patience for those students! They are often made to feel "dumb." Not impressed with method of teaching: mostly memorization. If your child is not good at memorizing, do not select this school! This school does not teach critical thinking! Teachers don't care about their students. If a student learns at a slower pace, that student does not receive any support from the teacher.

Our daughter just finished her Freshman year. We pulled her out of there. The school is in a transitional period, and things are not what they seem. Better to take your chances at one of the great local public high schools.

The all girls environment made her confident and strong and was not at all a deterrent to thriving in coeducational college experience. That myth is perpretrated by people without first hand experience. Go Regents!

Warning; I feel the administration at this school has no accountability. If you voice your opinion about this school, you run the risk of your child not being allowed to enroll for the next school year. It's really a horrible situation where some students are feeling picked on, shamed, and cast aside for no fault of their own.
At least some of the students removed from this school are straight "A" Honor Students, students with no disciplinary actions against them and with nearly perfect attendance. This feels like a vindictive and pathetic way that the exiting administration is attempting to get even. This administration should be ashamed of themselves for the way they are punishing children for the perceived indiscretion of their parents.

I love La Reina. There is just something special about this community of learners and educators. There is a palpable commitment to excellence here and though there may have been some growing pains with the addition of a new 6th grade, my daughter is thriving here.

Alumnae will have positive reviews of La Reina (LR) because they attended the OLD LR. The NEW LR does not reflect the ideology or values of the OLD LR. Buyer Beware! If progressive social justice engineering is what you want your daughter learning, then this is your school. But to call this school a traditional, conservative Catholic school is fraudulent and the new administration should be held accountable for the deception and outright lies they told the parents. They didn't even have a Catholic teaching the religion class. The middle school principal is suing the school due to the fraud and deception he experienced. It is all public record for anyone to verify. So consider if you want your tuition dollars going to pay for attorney's fees or a huge settlement rather than being used to support your daughter's education. Teachers do even worse than sit at their desks and tell students to do their work. The science teacher they tout as receiving the most prestigious science award played Disney's Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life and Ice Age movies in my daughter's science class! She refused to let my daughter do her homework or watch a Discovery Science video with her earphones on. The girls had to watch the Disney movies. For nearly 15K a year, that is an outrage. Honors Algebra was a joke this year. Students had to teach the teacher, as she had no clue! She had them play cards in class and threatened girls for complaining to their parents about her. Waste of money. Go to one of the great CVUSD schools. They aren't as bad as you have made them out in your mind and the academics are more rigorous than here. Our American History teacher quit and she had been there 11 years. The board, sisters and administration do not care or listen to the parents, aka, customers. People have been told that if they aren't happy then leave! You have no voice at this school, so if you choose to ignore this honest review, I hope you will be happy or you'll be leaving like so many did this past year! Just check out how few returning students there are next fall from this year's 8th grade class and you will see the evidence of this review. Many others leaving in the high school.

I can't speak for all of them, but our favorite one resigned with this new administration and the ones left are very bitter over being forced to work for free during an advisory period they had no say in. There are a couple that rise above it, but at what personal cost and when is the burnout going to overtake them? Students complain of the overall negative tone.

This school used to be outstanding. The new administration is terrible. They are inept and have created a hostile environment at the school. Academics have suffered greatly. Honors classes in both high and middle school have many students placed in them that cannot do honors work. Teachers and students are frustrated by this. Math and science in middle school are taught by teachers that mostly sit at their desks and tell students to work on their own. Many good teachers are unhappy and are looking elsewhere for jobs. Two much loved and long time teachers resigned mid year. After a disparaging email was sent to parents about one beloved teacher, a parent group formed to express the dissatisfaction of parents, students and staff. There are currently 280 members in the "Concerned Parent Group" (in a school of approx 600 students). As long as this administration is allowed to remain in place, La Reina has little chance of living up to the incredible reputation it maintained for many years. We do not recommend this school to other families.

Parents BEWARE!! This is not the school it once was. Take the time to investigate and find out the truth...not the rhetoric and spin. Sadly in less than one year the new Head of School and his staff have practically destroyed the spirit and essence of the school. They have caused a divide amongst the parents and pitted families against one another. The striving for excellence and school pride are no longer a top priority. FACT:Teachers are resigning mid-semester, with more to follow soon. FACT: frustrated parents have pulled their kids and MANY other parents are quietly investigating other schools, ready to leave if the current administration is not removed soon. Those in support of the administration are few and far between with a blind loyalty that is not warranted.
If things do not change very soon the school will probably cease to exist...too many families will leave and the school will not be able to recover from the financial loss. It is a very sad situation, parents are hopeful that the Board of Directors will see the truth and do the right thing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this school! I have two girls at La Reina, one in high school and one in middle school and they couldn't be happier. They both have sports, performing arts, student government, honors classes and outstanding clubs available to them on top of the great college prep courses. The administration is great and whenever I've reached out to Dr Bates, I've heard back with a quick response. My girls love the energy of the teachers and administrators and how much interest they show in their students. I really like the Head of School coffees that happen almost monthly where parents and faculty and staff can meet to discuss various campus issues with Dr Bates. I also really like the new middle school campus; the portable classrooms are huge! The new performing arts area is also a dream come true, along with all of the new STEM labs. This is a great school, fully endorsed by the Sisters of Notre Dame. So many great changes happening!

We have two daughters at La Reina, a Freshman and a Senior. Both have been at the school since 7th grade and we couldn't be more happy with the school. Just looking at the numbers, SAT scores 254 points above the national average, 90% AP 5-year pass rate and 100% college acceptance rate. All that and championship Mock Trial and Robotics teams, champion sports teams and a Speech and Debate program ranked int he top 10% Nationwide. So much to offer these young girls! The school takes a young girl and develops them into ethical, moral leaders, who could ask for more for their daughter? Under the new administration, the school is truly moving toward a school for the 21st Century learner. They just opened a new Performing Arts Loft that offers a black box theater, a beautiful dance studio, music rooms, dressing rooms and a screening and film room. Dr. Bates also oversaw the building of a new ceramics/sculpture and STEM lab. All this on top of constructing a new middle school last Summer. The new Middle School classrooms are bright and spacious with a beautiful patio where the girls can gather and socialize. There have been a few hiccups in the new Middle School but the administration is working to fix them, and what new project doesn't have a few hiccups? The new administration is also helping move forward an already stellar academic program. They just moved to a "Physics First" science program that is widely recognized as a way to bring physics to more students than ever before and laying a more solid foundation for advanced courses in all the sciences and even math. This and other changes to the STEM programs have earned the departments leader, Hannah Robinson the Outstanding Educator of 2015 from the IEEE. The improvements to the Math and Sciences, along with the already widely recognized writing program will make La Reina girls even more prepared to be successful in College. Last, but certainly not least, the benefits of an all girls education are too numerous to mention here, I highly recommend googling it and reading all the positive articles. The self confidence and leadership qualities these girls possess at graduation is unparalleled. And yes, they do find boys! My younger daughter has been to several dances at other schools this Fall and announced the other day that the La Reina back to school dance was the best by far.

Our daughter began her education at La Reina in 7th grade and is now a well-adjusted junior who has blossomed into a strong, caring, independent thinker. We couldn't be happier with the teachers who are continuously supporting her individuality in a safe nurturing environment where she feels confident she can rise to each academic challenge. As we attended back to school night and met these wonderful educators I could definitely see why she was so excited and proud for me to meet the team thats been so inspiring to her. As a business woman I am also impressed with the new administration that spoke that evening and the additional members I have met since then. I felt their passion and commitment to continue to be nimble, adjust, and make changes that will ensure La Reina is in a sustainable position and equipped to provide a top education for the young women of the 21st century. Each week this year 3 to 5 colleges have visited the campus and the culture and excitement this has created among our daughter and her peers has ensured that her sights are set on a future that looks bright and promising as she considers her options for higher education. We have two daughters at La Reina. Bottom line, it is a phenomenal school. A few bad apples are upset this year because they cant buy or bully the administration simply because, they pay a lot for their children to go to this school. La Reina provides first rate instruction, great sports opportunities, and access to just about any other extracurricular club or interest a student could want. I would recommend La Reina to any parent who wants their daughter to experience a wonderful single-sex college preparatory education in a religious environment. La Reina girls learn confidence, leadership, and poise in a supportive environment. Go Regents!

La Reina High School has been the best decision by far that I have made for my daughters education. She has been a student at La Reina for 5 years and each year I see her continue to grow into an intelligent, caring and confident young woman. There are several reasons why I feel La Reina is so successful...
1) Teachers that really invested in their subjects and students!!
2) All-Girl School: These girls go to school not distracted by boys. They challenge each other. They can be themselves....Silly, Goofy, Smart, Accomplished!! That is so important to a young girls education...especially in middle school. I know the La Reina middle school is experiencing some growing pains this year. That is to be expected year one. That being said...I have full confidence that the administration/teachers will continue to make adjustments and improvements.
3) Living the mission: "To provide a nurturing, Catholic environment of educational excellence, focused on helping your women develop into moral and self-confident leaders... " I see examples of this everyday in and out of the classroom.... Discussing current events, annual retreats, high participation in service(at school and in the community), etc...
4) Opportunities... my daughter has had so many opportunities to try a variety of experiences. As a smaller school, she can try a new sport, start a club, experiment with the arts..the culture encourages the girls to go for it!!

The school is poised to make some very exciting investments in our daughters experience. I have no hesitation in saying La Reina will continue to be a Blue Ribbon School with graduates that have made life long friendships and are poised to make a huge difference in the world!!

La Reina 2015 is not the same as La Reina 2014. New administration has taken over and started implementing changes that are not in the best interest of your daughters. The middle school is their first target. The entire middle school is now in portables. They now have an Advisor/Community class that has more hours allotted to it than Math per week. Nobody knows what is taught in the class. There are no longer any AP classes in middle school. They decided it wasn't fair. Catholic retreats are led by Non-Catholic role models with a lot of the girls choosing not to attend. Homework? There is very little homework. If the administration stays the same they will need to add boys to the school just to keep up enrollment.

Beware of La Reina. They have changed school admin recently and the lack of quality education and concern for our daughters has failed my expectations tremendously! I pay too much to this school to put up with their shenanigans as of late. Please check other schools out before considering La Reina. I wish I had better words to say...but I don't.

I went to La Reina and my daughters also go. Up until this year they all loved La Reina as I did.

Unfortunately this year the entire school has changed under new administration. The academics are slipping and the overall feel of the school Is no longer supportive and inspiring.

There are now classes being taught by what appears to be under-qualified teachers who seem uncomfortable with the subject matter.

The great teachers known for helping the girls be strong-self sufficient adults are quitting MID-SEMESTER.

Drop in tutoring has been removed. My girls are now telling me that the sense of school community and comraderie is gone. The grades are now pitted against one another.

After years of happily sacrificing to put our daughters in La Reina they no longer like it there and we are heartbroken.

The parent review below is accurate, unfortunately. The school is in a period of transition, and who knows if the grand experiment will work. The Administration has not communicated well enough with the parents. Many changes were implemented this year...but why? What exactly was wrong with the school that required a big fix? These are questions that a potential new family should consider, before parting with your hard-earned dollars.

I could have been alumni, but was forced to leave my SENIOR year after having attended from the 7th grade and coming from Pinecrest Elementary. I was raised Catholic, but had a lot of issues with the religion portion of the curriculum. I was asked to write a final essay my junior year for the Morality class to explain if I was pro choice or pro life. I was given a D for writing I was pro choice (not due to my grammar, spelling or construction, but because of my opinion) which caused my grade for the class to drop due to the weight of the essay which dropped my entire GPA. This is what caused me to not graduate with my class. There is little help for struggling students. I had a rough home life and there was no support from the school. Our assemblies were performed as masses and we were required to attend. This was very hard for me as I didn't practice Catholicism anymore. I would get in trouble for not praying. To get out of participation, I joined liturgical choir to play the drums. It was fun and I really enjoyed having creative freedom which was stifled otherwise. I tried to participate in sports, but because I wasn't registered with any club teams outside of the school, I would get extremely limited play time when I finally made the soccer team Junior Year. I was not picked the prior 2 years because one year my GPA was 2.75, and the other year was because of my HONOR CARD DEDUCTIONS. Ridiculous. I liked the big sister program and felt more connected with some of the older classmates which may have impacted my experience there. The older students were more cynical and argumentative which I loved. Science was always taught with a religious tone which is completely unnecessary. Learning Intro to Biology without the Big Bang theory is maddening. Evolution? Yeah right. La Reina has a great English and Math curriculum, and their Softball, Voleyball, Cross Country teams and Mock Trial program are phenomenal. Unless you want your daughter to be a lawyer, a teacher, or get a sports scholarship, I wouldn't recommend sending your daughter here without having a strong religious background, a sports club background, or an amazingly supportive and healthy home life.

Good School! I have seen a few schools in the past 15 years and this is by far the best one I have run across! Yes it is not perfect, yes it is transition right now with a new administration but it is still a great school! Academics are great, no doubt about that, growing art program with about every major discipline you can think of dance, theater, fine art, film, graphic design, sculpture, vocal etc..... Fantastic sports teams and they excel in many areas, volleyball, equestrian, basketball, softball and they even added a lacrosse team two years ago! Look if someone says that their "social" life is bad there (like in a previous review), I have news for her. Its you and not the school. I know plenty of students there that have thriving social lives and that have no problem meeting boys from all the surrounding schools. But when the girls there are in school at La Reina they are there to work hard and get an education. They seem to have a culture of high achievement and comradery there which is infectious. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to succeed academically, artistically and who wants long lasting friendships. If a student wants meet all the boys they can during their middle school and high school years and the distractions that go along with that in the social dynamics of a school, go elsewhere.

Because that's what happened to me. And I mean, all schools have jealous rivals who say bad stuff about them, right? But the only difference at La Reina is that it's true.

This is a terrific school on so many levels. The quality of teachers is outstanding. Great opportunities for girls in sports, the arts, and just about everything in between. My daughters have grown in their time at La Reina, and I am so thankful for their experiences there. The reason for the 4 stars versus 5: Front office staff (and one individual in particular) is abrupt on a good day, and downright surly on a bad day.

My daughter has attended La Reina for the past two years and I have been extremely happy, it has exceeded my expectations. I have children at other private schools (due to age and gender differences) and those schools do not compare. I am so impressed with the professionalism of the school and the manner in which they take care of our girls. This is a school of strong academics rooted in tradition. I cannot be happier with the choice we made to send her to La Reina and she is thrilled to stay for high school. She has made amazing friends, girls with strong values and like mindedness who want to succeed and strive for their best. La Reina provides a unique environment for girls to be their best. All schools have their own unique problems but I can truly say it is the strongest school we have attended.

I am going to counter the last two reviews simply because some people expect perfection, which simply does not exist. No school is perfect and every business has growing pains. La Reina has added so many things to provide opportunities for girls not had anywhere else. Surely this growth comes with the need for older teachers to catch up or leave. Things change, time marches on, and it takes time to move an institution of La Reina's size towards its goals. The school is still stellar. Our girls are safe & they are learning to have a voice. Sure, some teachers need to do a better job, but I have a student at another private school & let me tell you, it is far worse and we pay two times the tuition. I trust the principal to rid the school of those that need to go. If you seek perfection, you have unrealistic goals. No one at La Reina has ever lied to us. The leadership has been fully approachable. In fact, the current president is "interim" - hardly a systemic problem as he leaves after this year. If you want a great school with tradition & integrity, La Reina cannot be beat. I see what public & private coed schools have to offer; it isn't even close. La Reina is solid.

In my opinion, the school needs a big reset. If actions can tell you what's happening around the campus, try making someone the president of the school who has absolutely no experience leading a school. The only person in a leadership position who brings positivity to La Reina is the principal, and she has taken another job in Maine. The older teachers think that they are teaching in 1975 and they seem to think that our girls should be grateful that they are even allowed to be in the presence of such greatness. I agree with the parent who said math and science are weak, and I will also add foreign language and religion. My daughter has struggled in her first year language class and her teacher wasn't even able to answer some basic questions. Although, she was quickly condescending in saying that my daughter should know the answers anyway. Religion classes seem like an afterthought at a school that is Catholic. The school also has a positive side. My daughter loves it here. The other families at the school are the best, and they make our time at La Reina a pleasure. I love it here too, but some difficult decisions will need to be made to return this school to the status it once had.

La Reina is in deep transition right now and has gone downhill in terms of academics. It is not the school it once was. The teaching staff needs to be overhauled, especially in science and math. They treat the girls as though it is a finishing school. They have done nothing to moderinize it, aside from giving each girl an ipad. But that is just bling. The school is very behind and has seen enrollment drop because of it. Right now, no one is leading the school as they have been looking for new leadership for two years. As the parent below said, the school does have some serious problems that need to be fixed. While some of our experience has been positive, I do not feel that it is worth the tuition until they make changes. We are pulling our two girls after this school year.

As a parent I am happy with La Reina. My girls have learned a lot. There are a few things things that bother me like teachers that have bullied my daughters and keeping those teachers in the classroom. My daughters are scared to say anything and so am I because everyone knows that our daughters will get bad grades from the bully teachers. I also overheard a argument recently that really horrified me. A teacher was yelling about changes that were wrong with the school. Also, she said that there are people without degrees and the right certificates teaching. My oldest daughter has graduated, but my youngest is still here. I have seen a lot of good changes in the last 2-3 years and I hope that doesn't stop. It's sad to think a teacher never needs to change to deal with how our kids think. I am sure that my daughters will be successful in life and I owe part of that to La Reina, but the school does have some serious problems that will not hurt my daughters, but it will hurt future girls if they are not fixed. Everyone knows who the problem people are, I hope that the school will finally deal with them. The argument was eye opening and scary if that's how some faculty really think.

I am leaving the school this year, I am in 10th grade. Don't get me wrong... the academics at this school are EXCELLENT, but the girls who go here, including me, don't really have big social lives. I love it here but I've been here since 7th grade and I think that it is time to move on. The social aspect of the school is the only part they could work on. Like I said before the academics are phonominal. If you are a complete social butterfly who doesnt like to work hard in school, I do not recommend La Reina. You will strive if you try your best, it may be hard but it is rewarding.

I have three daughters who graduated from La Reina and could not have been happier with the overall experience. They each had different aptitudes and interests yet all were challenged to achieve at their highest potential, all found extracurricular activities to ignite their passion, and all made great friends for life. LRHS is a college prep school so the academic rigor is there yet any student aiming at college should be able to do well. The Catholicity of the school provides a solid foundation for the students to explore their spirituality and solidify their values. Most importantly, the single gender environment and the culture that the school cherishes both developed my daughters from young girls into amazing young women who are enthusiastic, confident, moral, productive, articulate, and creative. What parent would not want this for their daughter?

Women of consequence, that is what La Reina strives to graduate. As a member of the faculty, I can honestly say that is what we deliver. I split my professional time between La Reina and a local University. As an instructor who has spent my career in higher ed, La Reina is the only high school I have ever taught at. I have no problem teaching course work here. I don't need to adjust my teaching style, course content or academic expectations for La Reina. The girls really rise to the challenge of vigorous academic analysis. Students that go to La Reina are something special. I am so often impressed by these girls - what they are capable of and how intellectually mature they are. The best endorsement I can give is that I plan on sending my own daughter to La Reina when she is old enough:)

I am posting in response to the "one star" comment below. some students are NOT La Reina girls and they are much better suited for public school. Comments like that should be taken with a grain of salt because most often, the girls that leave do so for boys and/or easy academics. Even more interesting are the number of girls that try to return after leaving because they realize just how wonderful La Reina really is. Parents should be parents and not allow their daughters to choose the path of least resistance or to pick a school based on boys being present. School is meant to prepare you for university and more. La Reina has a 100% acceptance rate to four-year universities. You cannot please everyone, but some girls just aren't meant to be a part of the La Reina legacy to begin with, and that really is a good thing!

Now a senior in college applying to graduate school, I can truly say that La Reina was the best decision ever made in my academic career. La Reina not only taught me how to excell academicly, but also socially. La Reina's diverse student body is eminent in every area and made for the perfect enviornment to grow as an individual alongside my peers. The friendships I made at La Reina are are still the ones I hold closest today. La Reina High School values individuality and facilitates critical thinking in a way that I believe no other school can. I will be forever grateful for my LRHS experience, and hope that more young women continue to take part in what La Reina has to offer.

I went to this school from 7th grade to 10th grade, which I thought was a good length of time to be here. When I left and transferred to public school, my academics were so far behind that I had to drop all of my honors and AP classes. Now, at public high school, I feel that I am way more prepared for college then I ever was at La Reina. I recommend this school for 7th and 8th grade, but after that, go to a normal school.
