I'm so thankful to be part of the Panther community at Armona Elementary. Its an awesome place where I get to support students and families every day. Theres a lot of family involvement, and the teachers really care about their students. I also have to saythe lunches are amazing! Ive never seen a school serve so many fruits and veggies. The students take pride in being kind, and it shows in how they treat each other.

This school really is a gem in Kings County. The teachers are caring and emphasize being a school family. My son loves being here and has also grown so much academically. They now have a dual language program that unfortunately my son is too old for, but I have friends who have kids in the program and they are loving it too. The administrators are caring and compassionate and really look out for the best interests of ALL students regardless of disabilities.

My children get bullied at this school regularly. Even on the bus. School does nothing. They blame one of children for everything. Things that aren't true and they changed things off of my child's iep that I didn't agree with and all of my children are failing here. They say it's fine because my children's scores are better than their classmates? So all of the children must be failing here.

I am glad we moved our children out from Armona Elementary. We now have our children in an 8 out of 10 school and their grades have improved. Great schools web site has helped me look for a better school for our children and I really appreciate it. I have nothing good to say about Armona Elementary. So out of the little respect I have for this school I will reframe myself from writing too much negativity.
