Homework was usually not given at all. If it was given, then it was stuff a 5th grader could figure out with about 5 minutes of tutoring.

Some of the teachers care about the kids, but most don't. About half of the class involves the teacher punishing a student, or even punishing the whole class. It was very disruptive and affects all the students' learning.

There are kids at this school who have ADHD and a bunch of other disruptive behaviors. They are sent here by other schools who have had enough of them goofing off. In fact, there are so many here that the teachers are completely overwhelmed. (one of the reasons why they score so low on every test!)

At La Sierra Military Academy, the biggest bullies are the teachers. How can this school effectively deal with bullying when most of the adults do it themselves?!

This school puts kids first, holds them to high expectations, and a model school for others to follow.

The Drill Sargent retired and was replaced with a guy with little military experience. He allows kids in leadership positions to bully other kids. Some teachers look on and laugh. Don't send your kids here.
