The Best School Around!
I work in a nearby high-performing school district and constantly heard wonderful things about Twelve Bridges Elementary, Middle, and High School. Their reputation in the educational community is outstandingknown for strong literacy and numeracy programs, a safe and nurturing environment, high parental involvement, and a supportive school culture. At the high school level, Twelve Bridges stands out with top-performing sports teams (especially football), excellent college counseling and guidance, internship opportunities that provide real-world experience, rigorous academics, and a wide variety of course offeringsall within modern, well-equipped facilities. When it came time for our kids to start school, my husband and I decided to make the move to the Twelve Bridges community specifically for the schools. We bought a Taylor Morrison home (just up the hill toward Catta Verdera Country Club), and we couldnt be happier! My commute may be a little longer now, but its absolutely worth it to come home to happy kids every day, to know I am giving them the best education, and to be part of the Twelve Bridges community.

This is a Great School! We've had a fantastic experience with Twelve Bridges Elementary School. Right from the start, the teachers and staff showed genuine care and dedication, creating a supportive environment where our child has thrived academically and personally. The schools curriculum is strong and well-rounded, laying a solid foundation in core subjects like reading, math, and scienceperfect for kids who are on a college-bound path.
Our children not only improved academically but also developed critical thinking skills and a love of learning that will serve them well in middle school, high school, and beyond. The teachers challenge students appropriately while making sure they feel confident and encouraged. The school community (located in Twelve Bridges and Catta Verdera neighborhhods) is warm and involved, with plenty of events that bring families together. The campus itself is bright, modern, and welcominga great place for kids to grow both inside and outside the classroom. We feel very fortunate to have found a school that prepares students so well for the challenges of the future, especially those aiming for college. Twelve Bridges Elementary truly sets kids up for long-term success.

Twelve Bridges Elementary is considered a highly desirable school in the city of Lincoln, largely due to the favorable socioeconomic climate in the surrounding community. Many students come from well-to-do families, and there is a strong level of parental involvement and support.
However, over the years, Ive observed a decline in the overall quality of the educational experience my children are receiving, particularly as the areas population continues to grow. The school is now operating at maximum capacity, with some classrooms approaching 40 students per teacher. Not all teachers have classroom aides, and many must rely heavily on parent volunteers.
Through my own experiences as a volunteer, Ive noticed that more than half of the students struggle to fully grasp the material being taught. The large class sizes make it difficult for teachers to provide the individual attention students need to succeed. While the teachers are dedicated and do their best under challenging circumstances, its simply not feasible for them to reach every child effectively.
As a result, many students are just getting by, and several of my friends have had to enroll their children in tutoring programs to make up for the lack of personalized instruction. While some students manage to excel, many are advancing to the next grade level without a solid understanding of the foundational material.

Twelve Bridges Elementary School Truly the Best!
Twelve Bridges Elementary School is nothing short of outstanding. As a parent, I can honestly say this school has exceeded every expectation and given my child an incredible foundationboth academically and emotionally. This is a school where children thrive, teachers inspire, and families feel truly welcomed and supported.
From the first day, the staff made us feel like part of the Twelve Bridges family. The teachers are phenomenaldedicated, creative, and truly passionate about helping each child reach their full potential. They know how to challenge students academically while also nurturing their confidence and emotional growth. My child comes home excited to learn every day.
The curriculum is rigorous yet engaging, with a perfect balance of core subjects, hands-on learning, and enrichment opportunities like science, technology, music, art, and PE. The school also places a strong emphasis on character education, kindness, and respectwhich has helped my child grow not just as a student, but as a person.
The leadership at Twelve Bridges is exceptional. The principal and staff are visible, approachable, and constantly working to make the school better. Communication with families is clear, frequent, and meaningfulwe always know whats going on and how to get involved.
What truly makes this school special is the positive culture. Theres a genuine sense of community among students, staff, and families. Whether its a school-wide event, a classroom celebration, or a parent-teacher meeting, you feel the joy and commitment to student success in everything they do.
If youre looking for a school where your child will be challenged, supported, and loved, look no further than Twelve Bridges Elementary. Its the best decision weve ever madeand were so grateful to be part of this amazing school community.

Love it- the testing score at this school is 9/10! And it gets a 10/10 from us.
We agree with all the other with ratings! Its impressive that out of 16 reviews this school has an almost perfect 5-star rating, and it totally deserves it.
We have 2 children and moved from the Bay Area (Danville) where we are accustomed to high academic achievement and strong teachers and this school is on par, or even slightly better, and that is saying a lot! Im terms of the social/emotional environment, as the new kid, my child was welcomed into the community and quickly made a really nice group of friends. My child feels safe, happy, loves the teacher, and looks forward to school.
And bonus, my childs walk home from school is idyllic. There is a new paved trail from Coyote creek pond up to the new construction homes that goes past the pond, winds along the stream, over wooden bridges, and through the wild flower and oak tree speckled hills.
Side note, the new Twelve Bridges High School will finally have 9th-12th for the 2023-2024 school year. As the testing scores are 9/10 for this elementary and Twelve Bridges middle school, I would expect those same excellent ratings for the TBHS.
A hidden gem- Great place to raise a family!

This is a superb school to send your children. Every year I find myself saying "well that was the BEST teacher ever.." and now in 4th grade with my oldest, the bar has again been raised. From day one in kindergarten I couldn't have asked for a more nurturing K-teacher who also pushed academics and taught at a level appropriate for my daughter (served individual needs rather than ignored them) - and that trend has continued throughout. These teachers are given a tremendous amount of support to push solid, fundamental academics, provide a wide range of activities and experiences, and above all teach these kids to be model citizens. We are so lucky to send our daughters here. Lastly, kudos to Mr. Cubias for setting a positive, fun, and open minded atmosphere at Twelve Bridges! Job well done!

Twelve Bridges Elementary is a wonderful community school. This school encompasses the whole child -- and teaches kids what it means to be a good student, caring individual and all around well rounded child. The principal, Mr. Cubias, is phenomenal. He truly cares about each student and has done great things with the school in his short time there. I have two GATE qualifying kids, and have opted to keep them at their home school. Seems like the bandwagon is to go the Charter School route, as if the education is better there. My kids have had a great education at 12Bridges and I only see the school getting better. I am a proud TBES parent.

TBES is a wonderful school! We have been very happy with the academic environment as well as the warm community feel. Great parents, enthusiastic teachers, and a well run school.

NWhat this school does have is great families and a great social structure, and wonderful parent-led classes/clubs or activities after school. What they are lacking is - as are all public schools - is anything but an average curriculum. Sadly, the teachers are forced to teach to the lowest performers, leaving kids who excel with not much to do for any type of challenge. And not all of the teachers here are spectacular, and the principal isn't the strongest leader. The science teacher is amazing however! I miss the families the most.
