We have been very happy with how much our son's self-esteem, effort, organization and success have improved with our move to Holy Trinity. The teachers are very dedicated to empowering parents with modern, intuitive on-line platforms. We believe he will continue to thrive!

We feel incredibly blessed to be part of this school community. From day one, Hoku Trinity has been nurturing, faith filled and academically strong environment that truly supports the whole child- mind, heart, and spirit.
Our child absolutely loves going to school every day. The joy we see in him and his classmates is a direct reflection of the loving, supportive atmosphere created by the dedicated teachers and staff. The friendships friendships he has formed and the values he is learning are setting the foundation for not only academic success but also strong character and meaningful spiritual life.
The school does an exceptional job preparing students for the future. The academic standards are high, and the curriculum is thoroughfully designated to challenge and inspire. Beyond textbooks, the school teaches responsibility, compassion, leadership and service. All grounded in a strong Catholic Identity.
What stands out the most is the sense of family. The school genuinely partners with parents and makes every family feel welcome and involved. Whether is through Mass, school events, or daily interactions, we truly feel part of a warm and faith centered community.
We can not recommend Holy Trinity enough. It is a place where children are not only educated but also truly known, loved, and encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves.

My daughter has been a part of Holy Trinity School since Kindergarten; next year, its time for 7th grade! Im so grateful for the outstanding academics and the incredible teachers and staff who make learning enjoyable. Theyre always there to encourage our kids to explore and grow. And lets not forget about the emphasis on respect and kindness among all the students. Its truly inspiring to see how they treat each other with such care. The small class sizes also allow the teachers to give each student the individual attention they deserve. Its no wonder my daughter has such strong Catholic values and beliefs - this school has played a massive role in shaping them.

Have been attending Holy Trinity since our first child started TK two years ago. Now he is moving into 1st and my youngest will be starting TK in the fall. We love the incredibly personal relationship every staff member has with each individual child. We are always greeted and welcomed when we are at the school. Its not only accepted but encouraged for parents to be fully involved in the school and their activities. I feel this has been the best decision we have made for our childrens education.

Holy Trinity Catholic School is such a special place. Conveniently located right off HWY50 in El Dorado Hills it is truly a hidden gem. Small class sizes, an incredible staff and community it truly has everything you could possibly want in the form of the gift of Catholic education. My highly active young boys are thriving in their classes with hands on teachers and staff who all know them by name. They encourage and support while simultaneously holding them accountable and provide that traditional Catholic discipline that young men thrive with. I do not have enough positive things to say about this little school community!

After considering other options, we chose to re-enroll our son at Holy Trinity. Were so happy with our decision. He thrives in smaller classes where the teachers truly know and support him. The emphasis on Catholic values has made a lasting impact on his character and faith life. The school also supports working parents, with extended day program before and after school. I also love the parent community; everyone is supportive and kind.

My son went to Holy Trinity School from 5th grade to 8th grade, in hopes that he'll advance to Jesuit High School. I could not speak more highly about how well the teachers prepared him. His reading went from in-grade level to 3 grades above his level. He had very little formal knowledge of religion, and was just OK in math. Holy Trinity not only immersed him in faith formation and math but challenged him to excel. Now that he's in high school, he's getting excellent grades and not struggling to keep up. He says algebra is "easy," which we were so thrilled and relieved to hear! They built up his character, resilience, self-discipline, and strong study habits. We are truly grateful to Holy Trinity -- their staff, curriculum, student-to-teacher ratio -- the total package is THE model for how to position a student for success.

Although we came late in the year this year we are thoroughly impressed with this school.... My son was excited to move from public to private and he was in 4th grade! The administrators and teachers were very detailed and thorough and kept us up to date on his grades, how he was adapting... And they had 100% online option if kids could not make it to class (actual live in the classroom!). They worked with us FT working parent with crazy schedules with ease...Can't wait to start another year here... Sad we didn't do it sooner!!

Our child just finished his first year at HTSM. The quality of the teaching/learning is exponentially better than what we had in the local public school. Our child is being challenged at his ability level. Teachers arent afraid to differentiate and they actually teach the whole child. Public schools are scrambling to implement social emotional learning, mindfulness, and social justice. All of those are embedded in the meaningful Catholic schools curriculum. Its not an extra thing for teachers to teach. It is at the core of the curriculum here. Its embedded, meaningful, and impactful. We are so grateful we made the switch. Watching our kid gain academic confidence, leadership skills, and embrace the tenets of religion has been very satisfying.

Our children are finishing their first year at Holy Trinity School and all of us couldnt be happier with our decision to switch school last year. We came from a public charter school that couldnt provide us (two parents working full-time) the level of support we needed to get through the pandemic. From our initial tour of this school, we have been very impressed with the dioceses scientific and proactive approach to keeping everyone healthy while maintaining high academic standards and caring environment. Our children quickly adapted to new teachers and friends. They are excelling in all subjects and sharing a lot of amazing stories and ideas with us when they get home.

Holy trinity is an amazing school parish. We moved to the school in the area in the middle of 2019. The teachers the community and the students were more than welcome me to my two young sons. Halfway through their new school experience. Overcooked, the school did not skip a beat and we immediately picked up distance-learning with exceptional job by all the teachers. When fall came to begin the school year for 20/21, Our school at every protocol in place and cared for in person learning full-time. What a great experience it was. We are so excited to share that Holy Trinity school finished safely, on time and in person full-time. The teachers and students are caring and accommodating as well as academically excelling. My boys are finishing 4th and 5th grade happy and healthy and eager to return in 21/22!!!!

2020-2021 was our first school year and we couldnt have been more pleased with the total experience! Fantastic and super friendly faculty; we felt from day one we were in a safe and welcoming environment. The school did a tremendous job keeping us informed 24/7 without sounding any alarms unnecessarily. Having just moved from the east coast, the curriculum at HTS exceeded our expectations, and our teacher thoughtfully guided our successful transition. Truly grateful for in-school learning virtually the entire year. Cant wait for fall 2021!

Posted: May 17, 2020
The teachers are fantastic. They truly get to know your child as an individual and teach to the child's individual strengths and weaknesses. It has been incredible to watch our children's learning skyrocket, particularly in the last three years.
Posted: May 17, 2020
This is the cornerstone of HTS. There is no better school for developing our children as intelligent, responsible, caring citizens.
Posted: May 17, 2020
The leadership is effective. We had a fantastic principal for the last four and a half years, who recruited the best teachers and staff in the Sacramento Valley. Unfortunately, the church administration was overly tolerant of families who were not paying tuition - either regularly or at all - and the school was forced to make a significant tuition adjustment this year. This brings the tuition on par with other Catholic schools in the area. Equally unfortunate has been the parents who believe that payment of anything for their child's education entitles them to be unreasonable, demanding and harassing toward school leadership and faculty. The Vice Principal stepped up after the Principal's departure and did a fantastic job of maintaining the stability of HTS's operations. We are optimistic about the future of the school because hopefully now, we have purged the dead weight and negativity and we welcome those who truly support Holy Trinity's mission.

We do not have first-hand experience with this but see that children of all learning abilities have support and encouragement.
Posted: May 17, 2020
"Bullying" has become a catchphrase and a weapon easily used to mask weakness of character and an inability to resolve one's own problems. As stated above, the school cultivates the character of the students as much as their academics and it shows. Students of every grade level interact positively with each other and the younger children love having the support of the middle school students.

We have been at HTS for five years and have seen the school improve every year. Our students are competitive with any school in the area, the state and even the country, based on the standardized testing scores. We have only one teacher leaving this year to go to another school and that is to teach at a Catholic high school. The other teacher leaving is for a pre-planned retirement. The class sizes are significantly more manageable than the other Catholic schools in the area and HTS offers a wealth of elective and extracurricular activities. The technology is more than adequate - we do not need our children glued to more screens during the day. The school is tremendously supportive of working parents with a fantastic extended day program that does not require reservation or pre-registration. We cannot recommend Holy Trinity School enough.

Holy Trinity School has provided an enriched learning environment for our children while engaging our faith and patriotism. To find a mix of all three in a school today is very hard. While we have lost some students/families most of us understand this to be financial struggles. HTS is raising tuition but now it will be in line with other Catholic schools in the Sacramento area. Our experience as parents is important but not nearly as important as what our children experience. They both love the school, their teachers, leadership/staff and the family interaction at Holy Trinity. They enjoy going to school everyday and this make Holy Trinity special for them! We've read the reviews here and I can probably name names for those who became disenchanted with HTS. My name is Chris Cockrell and my cell is 916-836-6671. Call me or my wife Lina and we would enjoy meeting with you to discuss the value that Holy Trinity School holds for our family!

Used to be a good school but leadership has completely messed up budget, principal quit, several teachers have quit or are about to quit. Test scores are good compared to public schools so ask to see numbers versus other private schools. Ask why there was over a 100 percent increase in tuition next year. Ask why teachers are leaving. Ask why families are leaving. Do your due diligence before committing to spend 5000 dollars a year per kid. Talk to parents that have left the school for another school and ask them if there child was ahead or behind at their new school. Most that I have talked to say they were way behind. Ask to see their technology and especially the computer lab which looks like something in the 1990s. Ask if they are going to improve their technology. Ask if there are any plans to build athletic fields. Then go tour other private are and public schools in area to see if you see a huge difference. It is a beautiful campus but in my opinion that is all it has to offer anymore. Everyone should make their own decisions just want people to ask certain questions before committing that amount of money.

Principal left half way through year for 2019/2020 school year. Budget is a mess and entering 2020/2021 school year tuition is increasing over 100 percent. School is losing families. Ask to look at number of students enrolled every year for the past five years. You will see significant drops each year and wouldnt be surprised if next year is a huge drop.

Was once a good school but management completely messed up budget which caused principal quit and then had been a snowball effect as enrollment has dropped 75 percent. There is an obvious issue and wouldnt be surprised if school shuts down completely after one more year.

Good leadership, spiritual education, academics and loads of extracurriculars at this school. It really is a wonderful environment for the kids, but better to be "early to the party" so to speak. Cliques are quite common in the middle school grades as the kids have been in class together for years (not sure this can be prevented). There is a good 2-3 hours of homework a night in middle school. It looks like the complaints in the earlier reviews were addressed.

I am so sorry for those who's experience with the school was a rough one. Maybe the school had a tought start, but now it is thriving!! We have had 2 wonderful years at HT where my children have flourished! They love their school and are very glad we came to HT. HT has a well rounded Acedemic Program. HT has 2 graduated classes...........evidently those children have moved on to both public and Catholic High schools are very successful, many in the honor roll program and others being commended for the high level of math ability. I would reccomend this school to any parent who would like a strong foundation for thier children from an Christian and acedemic stand point.

Holy Trinity has been wonderful experience for my two children who both started at Holy Trinity's Kindergarten. It offers a challenging academic environment. The staff is a excellent and committed to providing an exceptional learning environment with Catholic values at it's foundation. Holy Trinity's stewardship model is also very unique; exemplifying and instilling the importance of community into the students.

Before placing my daughter at Holy Trinity I researched the surrounding public and private schools. A Kindergarten class size of 15 is not an option at any other school in the area. The devoted and talented administration and teaching staff are committed to academic excellence and strive to infuse catholic values into all aspects of the curriculum. Fining a school with a school garden, sports, foreign language, art and a music programs is hard to do during these budget times. I am so happy we made the choice to send our daughter to HTS and will continue to send all of our children. We are truly grateful to the school and Parrish for contributing to the growth of our child.

Holy Trinity School, under the spiritual guidance of Monsignor Kiddor and academic leadership of our amazing Principal along with the financial support of our Parish has created a faith filled education for our children. With a six year accreditation granted to our school and a community that supports the academic and spiritual success of our children we could not be happier.

My daughters are experiencing education at a level beyond API scores, and teacher contracted time. Holy Trinity nurtures the whole child with their content rich curriculum and diverse opportunities for extra curricular activities with a spiritual foundation. My daughters are thriving and growing into thoughtful stewards of their Catholic community.

Thanks to the efforts of the Principal and staff there is a cohesiveness that is evident in their whole school activities towards "going out" to others in need. Children and parents work together to offer help, spiritually as well as materially, through community outreach.
