I was a student at Twelve Bridges Middle School and loved it! My sister attends there now (in 7th grade), and she also loves it. Middle school can be a particularly challenging time, but I feel that I emerged unscathed. :) The kids are surprisingly kind, and the school community is set up in a way that encourages and reinforces a culture of kindness! I felt safe and supported by the administration, my teachers, and friends. I was academically challenged, but also supported and set up for success. I was also involved in a few sports, and that was really fun too. Now I'm at Twelve Bridges High School, and I'm loving it too! I am touring colleges this year and as I reflect on my academic career, I feel ready and prepared to go forward into my next stage in life, thanks to Twelve Bridges Elementary, Twelve Bridges Middle and Twelve Bridges High School. Twelve Bridges all the way!

All 3 of my kids have gone to Twelve Bridges Middle School and we've been really happy.
The teachers genuinely care and work hard to support the kids, balancing academics with making sure theyre growing as individuals. The curriculum is challenging and does a great job preparing students for the rigor of high schoolespecially for those who are college-bound. Our kids felt ready and confident when they transitioned to high school at Twelve Bridges High School, which made a big difference. Theyve also enjoyed the variety of activities and sports available its a great way for them to make friends and build confidence. The campus feels safe and well-maintained, which gives us peace of mind. Whats really stood out to us is the communityfamilies here are welcoming and involved, and its been nice to feel connected through school events. Living in the Twelve Bridges/Catta Verdera area, assigned to this school, has been wonderful. The neighborhoods are quiet, the homes are newer and spacious, and theres plenty of green space for the kids to play.

10/10, We love this school! High academics (see the test scores are 9/10), welcoming community for new kids, teachers that care and a safe and supportive environment. We moved here from the Bay Area (Danville) where we were accustomed to high academic achievement and strong teachers and this school is on par and maybe even slightly better academically.
Also, we were worried about transferring to a new school in junior high (yikes!), but to our relief our child had no problem making friends and has a really nice group of friends. My child is also doing better emotionally at this school and feels less stressed and anxious than at her prior school. There also have been no safety or concerns of any other kind.
Important Note: There is a new Twelve Bridges High School that hasnt been rated yet. They have been adding a class a year and the 2023-2024 school year will be the first year it has 9-12 grade. Im sure the academic ratings will be excellent as Twelve Bridges Middle is the feeder school. Testing at the elementary and middle school are 9/10 so I would expect at least 9/10 from the high school too. Highly rated twelve bridges elementary, middle and high school! 10/10 for us!!

The school isn't the best at preventing bullying, constant moaning in the locker rooms, some of the worst cuss words are bounced around conversations like a common word, you have to get lucky with teachers to actually enjoy it. The only real highlight of this is when you get an actual teacher that isn't mean to everyone, or the election that you wanted to choose. People can be insulted out of thin air and if you do anything back and get caught, you both get the same punishment. In 2021, all the bathrooms for the boys except 1 had to be closed because the school couldn't stop all the destruction. I had to solve a locker mystery where summon kept using my locker and the PE teachers blamed me for putting the lock in the wrong spot.

Awful, We sold our home and moved to a new district because of how bad it really is. Staff does nothing to stop racism and bullying.

This school may get good ratings, but you are hard pressed to find teachers that truly care about the success of the students. There is a definitive culture of bullying, which many teachers participate in, including name calling, odd behavior, arrogance and lack of concern for students. There are a couple of fantastic teachers in the bunch, but overall I would credit parents and middle income lifestyle with the testing success.

I have spent my entire Middle School career at TBMS, and as my eighth grade year comes to a close, I realize how great of a school this truly is. The Vice Principal, Mr. Woods, is single-handedly the coolest administrator of any school I've ever heard of. As he makes his rounds 'round campus, he high-fives all the students and brightens the place up. I know every one of the teachers here, and I have to say that 9/10 of them are not only excellent teachers, but kind, understanding people as well. They also have a good female-to-male staff ratio. In most schools you'll see either too many men, or too many women staff members. The students here are also very accepting and fun to be with; they make me enjoy going to school. Most of all, TBMS has one of the best Music Programs that a public school has to offer! The Music Teacher here IS my favorite teacher of all time, and he is an amazing musician as he has been the Band-Director here for the entirety of its existence. You may be skeptical, but I have learned numerous life-lessons and skills from Mr. Brown that will me make my life easier. All-in-all, this is the best possible middle school that you could hope to go to.

Okay so I go here and honestly I read some of the reviews and laughed especially at the one that said kid cuss a lot. Do you seriously think you can find a middle school where no one cusses. Ya there is some bullying but the teachers do take care of it whether they like you or not the only time they don't help you with a bulling problem is if you don't tell them! The teachers here are great they are funny, nice, encouraging but still have a strict side so you don't get out of control. And the office staff is so nice and help with a lot. It's a really good school but the only thing I don't like is some things on the dress code like covering shoulders and that they don't teach Spanish like granite oaks and a lot of other schools do.

As a previous student I am pleased with the academics but the school has major problems with bullying, no one is doing anything about it. The vice principle and the teachers won't care if you get bullied unless they like you. If they bearly know you they won't listen to what you have to say

My children had a terrible experience at this school. Bullying is tolerated. The vice-principal even thought some of the bullying was funny. When I said I didn't share his sentiment, he said we would just have to disagree.

TBMS dysfunctional communication at this school. There is no pro-active approach to discipline/maintaining order at the school.

Very pleased with TBMS... my son is thriving here- many great, caring teachers who make learning fun. Administration is strong and they take a pro-active approach to discipline/maintaining order at the school. Beautiful state-of-the-art facilities, as well.
