Students that tarnish their data are pushed out of the school. I am not guessing this to be true, but was told this by a district leader. Utilization of evidence based practices to ensure equitable learning experiences is not a way of doing business. Charter schools and other districts in the surrounding areas are doing their best to support the students pushed out due to learning differences. Public schools are funded for ALL, and that is not happening. Opportunity gaps in education and extracurricular activities are off the charts. Those who do not “fit in” are so broken by the experience that they leave or are simply removed from the district.

This school is the worst i've been to in my life. The kids there are mean. They made fun of me and talked trash about me. I had no friends there and had no opportunity to meet anyone nice there. The teachers gave you a ton of homework and didn't give you much time to make it up, even if you were sick or had to go to a doctors appointment. Student Services doesn't handle incidents very well. I've reported them three times for harassment and nothing has happened. I would not recommend this school to anyone because the kids are mean and the teachers just give you a ton of homework each day and don't give you much time to make it up. This school is garbage.

This school is overcrowded and under-supervised. We see kids punching each other in front of the gym. My kids hear foul language in the hallways (including the n--- word), in locker rooms, in the back of the classrooms, and during lunch, with no consequences to students. The school desperately needs more staff to supervise students. My kids have also witnessed verbal bullying with no consequences to students.

I love this school. As a student, there is a high education program that you can get in to make embrace your capability academically. As an 8th grader this year, I have experience great memories. Last year I was in the advanced math/science program, it was an awesome experience where you didn't have to wait and go the pace everyone else does, instead the school puts an intelligent, fast pace group of kids together and expand their knowledge faster. The academic facility is great, but the sports program is amazing. Granite Ridge may not have the best teams, but the students give their all on the field. We have great coaches that teach us how to be competitive, aggressive, but also to have great leadership and sportsmanship. Not to forget the teachers, all teachers from my experience have a different way of teaching that May or may not work for you, but with the help of them after school in labs or in class, you can have a great academic year. I hope find my view helpful. Somewhat bias but true. I hope if you are looking for a school you pick the all time GR experience! --A current 8th grade student

What I like about Granite Ridge is that, they listen to the improvements that parents and other staff, and students suggest. They give students plenty of things to involved in, so they feel included. People should know that one of the many great things about it, is the location. Granite Ridge (middle), Clovis North (high), and Willow International (college).

The school's great (=w=)b I have been a student of Granite Ridge Intermediate School for 2 years now and its a good campus, rarely any bullies at our school, but there have been some fights. The campus is ginormous, so you'll get lost. The school also has an advantage since it's a middle school/high school, the middle school students wont be nervous when its time for them to transfer to high school since it is the same school. Pros: * ginormous school * nice teachers/students * clean campus, and so much more Cons: * gives too much HW * the library only holds a few books * not that many elective choices

This is an excellent school. Having lived in many different places in the US gives me this perspective. I have seen other "excellent" schools in some of the major metropolitan areas and the CNEC campus rates right up there with the best. The teaching staff is actively involved and readily accessible for students and parents. The rules are enforced and personal responsibility is highlighted which will serve kids well as they move through life. The facilities are start of the art. The campus is safe.

This school offers wonderful, state-of-the-art facilities. The staff is interactive with us students, and actually care about our success. The sports program is growing, and is already posing a formidable threat to other top teams. The music program is one of the best in the district. The administration is friendly and helpful. The dress code is strict, which personally, I think is best for the students that come to school dressed in completely inappropriate attire. This school also boasts a great student body. I am perfectly happy to be attending here. There's not much more to desire from Granite Ridge.
