An amazing school with incredible teachers and staff. This school not only prepares students academically but also introduces many different activities to prepare students for whatever they choose to do in the future.

My first experience with CAPE was an in person school tour led by the savvy Admin Team. Almost every child in every room we visited was confident, aware and enthusiastic - even offering to answer any parent questions. Regardless of everything else, confidence is key to a persons success - so I knew my kids had to go to CAPE. Fast forward 11 years, I have confident and intrinsically motivated kids. CAPE is also one of the few schools that allow and welcome parents on campus to help in classrooms - whether at centers, or through the Women in History program, or as Composer/Artist of the month. Volunteerism is big at this school. The education is top-notch - should your child decide to take advantage of it. You can verify this by looking at any local or county competition - CAPE is usually a winner. The teachers are literal cheerleaders for their students and go above and beyond to ensure your childs success. There are lots of field trips every year at almost every grade level. The middle school consists of 2 classrooms per grade level - so it is smaller than area middle schools - however the teachers get to know you and your child at an individual level. There is even an online high school for children whose lives cannot accommodate a traditional high school. Being a charter (still maintains state standards) the school can pivot rather quickly -whether its for curriculum, complaints about educators, or new policies. CAPE has historically and repeatedly performed very well on state testing. This is a great school for involved parents who value academic success.

Our children have been at this school since kindergarten. I feel very fortunate that we have this gem in our community. The staff in the front office, the administrators, and the teachers are all excellent communicators with parents and students. The overall educational experience for our children has been excellent.

We agonized for months between the local Catholic school (which we also liked very much) and CAPE. We decided to try CAPE knowing it was a one-time "take it or leave it" opportunity and are SO happy with our choice. Unfortunately, our child's kindergarten teacher (who we loved) moved away after Christmas break. This is where the excellence of CAPE really came to light and that was how seamlessly the transition was handled with minimal disruption for the students. My child got another excellent K teacher and continues to flourish. We are here for the long haul and thankful that we will not have another difficult school choice to make until high school!

CAPE is the place to send your kids for a top notch education! Academic standards are set very high for students with the GATE and honors programs built into the curriculum for ALL students. My children have made tremendous academic strides at this school. The teachers and staff have consistently proven to be very caring and supportive. The student population is diverse. Bullying is not tolerated. This school should be held as the model for how to run all schools in California. Parental involvement is big at CAPE with each family required to serve 1 hour per week. My only wish is that this school would go all the way through 12th grade. That would ensure a solidly outstanding K-12 education in preparation for the university.

I cant say enough about this school! It has been everything that I have been looking for. Great teachers and staff with great communication with parents. Lots of parent envolvment. This is my son's second year here and he is doing awsome; reading above grade level and loving school. I love C.A.P.E.!!!!!!
