Both of my sons attended the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara from preschool through the eighth grade. I am very grateful they were been able to do so. It has been a great gift to them and to our family. It offers a broad, deep education that integrates creativity into academic learning through art, music, movement and practical skills. Waldorf education honors each individual while supporting their growth into their fullest possible selves. The children gain confidence and a strong sense of self, along with respect for others and for the world around them. Along the way they are given a solid academic foundation for the journeys to come. They are well prepared for the transition to high school and beyond. Thank you Waldorf School!

A wonderful opportunity for all. What amazing spirit the Waldorf Education brings to your child and family is tough to explain in a few words. The head, the heart the hands. If you are looking to grow a complete human being, think hard about this education. NO stress about tests, competition, etc. Just young people growing into wonderful young human beings that will be very happy with themselves in the world and a great asset to any community. Could not ask for more.

Our school is a beautiful community full of people who support children in love. I am fortunate enough, to both work at the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara and have both of my daughters attend and graduate from the school. I am continually amazed at the dedication of the teachers and staff. The students who go to our school are remarkable human beings who leave with the capacities to practice self education and engage the world with heart, thought and action. The school continues to invest in its own development. This year we have renewed our commitment to ongoing mentor support and are deepening our relationship with the wider Waldorf Community, and our Santa Barbara Community. We are in active partnership with other organizations in our area that care for the environment, and the Children at our school actively participate in caring for one another and the Earth. I feel grateful to be a part of this community.

The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara is an incredible school with a strong and committed faculty, students who race to their classrooms each morning, eager and excited to learn, and a passionate, community-driven parent body. As an employee of the school, it is a lovely place to work; the atmosphere is warm, full of heart, surrounded by colleagues, parents and faculty who deeply care about what they do. This love for one's respective work is palpable when you step on campus; this school is a living model of community in action, working together to create good in the world, working together to nurture and support the children into becoming their brightest selves.

The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara provides my children with an academically diverse and dynamic curriculum that focuses on them as individual children. The faculty are warm and caring and the children are always held very well. We appreciate the simple atmosphere that provides a stimulating learning environment without the use of technology or high pressure testing. The community of parents, faculty and staff makes us feel connected to something more than just a school.

Waldorf has been wonderful for my grandkids. The teachers are caring, the students get a great balance between academics and the arts, and the students are challenged to think outside the box. The students are given public speaking opportunities, real-world experiences, and boosts in self-confidence. My granddaughter graduated from Waldorf and is now at the top of her classes in high school. It's a great place to get an education!
