This school is okay. I'm going into 7th grade this year so here's what you need to know if you're planning to send your kids here.
FOOD:
The food is fine. Some stuff like the pasta and mac and cheese is terrible but other things like the garlic bread and pizza are pretty good. It tastes great for the first month and then after that the quality takes a nosedive. I would suggest having your kid pack their own lunch.
TEACHERS:
Most of the teachers are decent, but one teacher I had used ChatGPT on all of his assignments that he gave to us, AI images on slides that he showed us (that also had AI generated text), and encouraged us to use ChatGPT for research.
STUDENTS:
A lot of the kids in this school are TERRIBLE. They will pick on you, be disrespectful to the teachers, make a mess, be obnoxious and loud, and just be annoying. But some of the kids are alright.
OVERALL:
Is it the best school? NO. Absolutely not. But it's a good school for college prep ig.

There are a handful of solid teachers but mostly lack experience but unfortunately don't have the humility to go with it. There was a "math" teacher who didn't know how to graph and a history teacher who could have been a CIA plant given the inaccurate and revisionist history taught. The worst is the administration as they are borderline bullies and very authoritarian. On several occasions I tried to have discussions and they never followed up. Probably just counting down the days picking on kids until the 30 year pension kicks in.

Our two daughter's attended Two Rivers Elementary as well. Great elementary school by the way! They love Leroy Greene Academy, we love the fact of the 6th through 12th grade. We don't have to worry about the transition, they have their friends that move on to the next grade with them and familiar teachers. The teachers are great, they go above and beyond to make sure the kids are getting what they need to succeed. This is a great school, our children feel safe , supported and I feel so fortunate to be part of this school community.

School is horrible the Teachers are unprofessional and the Kids are always getting written up. The Principal acts like hes running a prison and the Front Staff is rude. Lots of racial issues with this school. Dont let your kids come here.

This school is very good academically, my daughter studied there for 6 years and has very good experience with the teachers, they help them a lot if they are behind with their grades and they have a lot of school support. But not all the staff is prepared or trained for everything. My daughter in her last year of high school went through an incident of sexual assault with a classmate from the same school and the reaction and "advice" of the person in charge of all the seniors in college and careers in whom my daughter trusted her was disappointing. tell her about her problem and she threatened her, harassed her, manipulated her to make her feel guilty and re-victimized her. She always protected the perpetrator.
Her last year there was a nightmare.

The school really understands and helps the students in all possible ways in achieving their academic goals, and in preparing for college readiness.
High school teachers are good, and the school offers different options to pick the advanced courses.

This is my daughters first year as a 6th grader and she is loving the school so far! No concerns of bullying and her teachers are all very good. I receive weekly updates on her grades and the teachers are quick to respond to concerns. There has been a Covid exposure from another student but I received a call
from the principal himself on next steps to ensure the safety of the children in class. The principal is very involved in the day to day activity and communication has been great so far.

Our son attended Two Rivers Elementary for 6 years, and now attends Leroy Greene Academy. He is so happy with his new school: loves all his teachers, loves the subjects and curriculum, and really likes his fellow students. We have been very happy with the school management, and the principal Leslie Sargent does a terrific job! We highly recommend Leroy Greene and are grateful the old middle school re-opened as this Academy.
