This school is terrible. They mistreat the students and they are just "ALL ABOUT THE MONEY"

The school used to be great. New owner is unknowledgeable about the student population and how to best serve students with special needs. Over the past year, many wonderful staff, teachers and leaders have left the school. Quality of the program is going down.

This is the only school that my child has felt appreciated. Prior to coming to this school, my child did not participate in his academics and had trouble with socializing. Now he's outgoing and getting good grades in school.

Staff is caring and teach students how to be responsible for their actions. There is an honest approach to dealing with many situations.

Great atmosphere. I've seen so many students flourish in this program and I'm glad to be a part of such a wonderful learning community.

The school teaches students to be honest and fair with their peers. Staff at the school are taught to use strength based strategies when working with students.

My child's teacher has a good understanding of how to balance homework with home life. The homework is consistent with my child's abilities.

The school has a great team that is dedicated to helping students. My child had made tremendous progress since attending this school.

My son is scheduled to transition from this school in the fall. He has grown so much and we are thankful for the staff who have made this possible.

There is a mixture of good and bad teachers, but most don't stay regardless. Very inconsistent.

Higher functioning students are bribed versus being held accountable and coached thru their behaviors. In the elementary class the students live on the computers and are not challenged to work thru negative behaviors. Older students who desperately need a behavior modification plan are bribed with gifts, games or promises to keep them calm.

Many of the staff try so hard and love the students, but the administration is terrible and puts on a show rather than doing a good job. Terrible turnover because the administration fails to lead, make a plan for student behaviors or treat staff with respect. The only classes which have had a teacher for a full year are the two taught by administrators (therefore not giving 100% to either role). School has bad relationship with service providers so there are always changes and inconsistencies for students.

Great teaching staff and especially my child's teacher who is always available to take my phone call or answer an email.

No, I see children that are bad a disrespectful being rewarded with playing video games just to keep them quiet. I see students being hidden from view that are low functioning just so tour guests won't see them. No, there is no integrity in those actions.

I'm really disappointed after taking the tour of the school and seeing all these great things to do on campus and in reality they don't get to do them. After talking to other parents I found out things I didn't Like. They have a beautiful vegetable garden but only get to work in it twice a year. The children spend a lot of time watching movies and playing video games. I did witness some negative behavior reinforcement and a high turnover of staff. That is a red flag for me.
