My one experience included a lockdown with no input from admin. They are ageist and discriminatory. Because my experience was negative, I have to assume they treat students and parents poorly as well.
I had a bit of a challenging day there in a 3rd grade class as a sub. The lesson plans were a little complex, but nothing terrible. The kids helped a lot.
After carrying out the teacher's instructions admirably and completely, topping the day off by staying after and reading to kids until tardy parents arrived, and then cleaning the classroom, I was told not to return.
They claimed an aide overheard me saying something insensitive to a student, and since I know that never happened, I came to my own conclusions.

I believe it is not perfect school but still it has a lot of good things. I have a TK student there and I'm generally satisfied about progress.

This school is not great. We started in TK and had an incredible teacher. She was kind, patient, organized everything youd want a teacher to be. This had me believing that we were at a wonderful school which ended up being so far from the truth. Kindergarten was a disaster, 1st grade also not going great. Teachers are overwhelmed, they are not receiving the support they need from the school and principal to have functioning classrooms. Communication is horrible all around. If youre thinking about this one, skip it. We shouldnt have stayed as long as we have.
