I’m very thankful for this school. My children enjoy their classes and teachers. If I reach out to a staff member regarding a concern, they’re prompt with communication or looking further into a situation if necessary. To me, it’s clear that the school’s priorities are not just about the academic progress of the children but about their wellbeing as well. The quality of this school is reflected in the way they treat the children, teach the children conflict resolution, leadership skills, amongst other things which nowadays this world could truly benefit from. I’m also very appreciative of them fostering an environment that welcomes feedback from the parents. Aspen Meadow keeps seeking new ways to improve for the benefit of the children.

Aspen Meadows is a great school, unlike the last reviewer who said it's racially biased....WRONG you're probably at fault for ignorance.. this s school is great my kids have been there since it opened..I love the fact staff is very involved,a lot of parents know each other and school security officers are excellent.i trust this school with my childrens education, and trust the officers for their dedication! Aspen Meadows is the only school I would recommend to any parent!!!

My daughter has attended Aspen Meadow since her Kindergarten year. She is learning and tremendously growing academically and socially. We've had nothing but positive experiences with her teachers and administration. They have many forms of communication (paper and digital newsletters, phone app/ program that sends memos straight to my phone). The staff is extremely friendly and approachable, including administration. The environment is overall very welcoming and extremely safe!! There's campus officers from early morning, till the end of ASES program 6pm. The officers are friendly to everyone, professional, and just great at what they do. The kids just love them! My favorite thing about this school is staff members address students and parents by name! Its a good feeling to know the staff knows every child by name (and not just the frequent flyers to the principal's office); but for staff to recognize parents over the phone and call you by name when on campus, well that's just makes my day!! It's the little things that count<3 Love this school!

Teachers show respect to students, this teaches students to be respectful. I am able to speak with my son's teacher daily. She gives me information on how to keep the learning going at home. Now on Easter vacation my son is working on his fun fraction packet that his teacher gave him to complete and bring back to receive a prize.

Aspen Meadows uses the 7 habits, Leader in me program. My son's skills in being proactive, planning ahead, study first then play, looking for fairness, listening and get an understanding before answering, value others ideas, and always open to learning new things continually improves.

I met Mrs. Taylor, Site Director, May, 2016. My son started 2nd grade the first day, August 15, 2016, when Aspen opened. Over the years I have only praise for her leadership. The first year my son had a problem with his teacher. Mrs. Taylor made time to meet with my son, his teacher, and myself every Friday at 7:30 am until the problem was solved. Mrs Taylor runs a very calm. no yelling, very respectful school. The office staff is very professional always. The staff is always helpful and get along very well with each other. I love the staff at Aspen!!!

What a real Blessing Aspen Meadows has been for my son. I benefited from the 6-week class, The Whole-Brain Child, that was offered to us parents. This class helped me to see students learn in many different ways. I feel comfortable discussing ways that would help my son. Mrs. O'Connor, my son's teacher, constantly give me different ideas that she has to help my son learn.

Recently my son had a problem with a boy while playing soccer. Cameras are all over the school. The other boy was sneaky in hurting my son. Aspen Meadows has two Officers on duty. Officer Morgan and Mrs Taylor, Site Director, reviewed the camera film and saw were my son had been bullied. Mrs Taylor contacted myself and the other boy's parents to settle that manner immediately. Aspen Meadows has ZERO tolerance for physical or verbal abuse. This is a very safe school.

I'm one of the parent volunteers at Aspen Meadows. Us volunteers must go through training. I enjoy being in my son's class and helping out at the fun school activites. During the school year we have a Jog-A-Thon, harvest day carnival, field trips, a Block party for the entire community, and every year we have a huge Leadership Day were family and friends come to see the kid's beautiful art displays done in Mrs Her's art class, all the work done in classrooms, a great leadership parade, with good refreshments by Mrs Marisela, also the kids are in charge on stage. My shy son will speak on stage now. I love this excellent school. Every year gets better!!!

Homework is not mandatory, it's used more as a catch on the day's work. Most of my 4th-grade son's work is done on Summit Learning computer program. I'm able to check my son's progress at school any time of day on my computer.

Homework is not a part of the schools learning process . Students and parents may request work to be sent home to do. Sometimes teachers will send home optional workbooks to challenge students. My kiddos LOVE this and so do I! We have time after school to do activities, family dinners, etc...and get to bed at a decent time without stressing about getting homework done.

In our experiment the fact that homework is not sent home has fostered a love for doing extra work and teachers are still able to challenge the kids.

Given the different academic levels you’d find in any school, we have been VERY happy with the teachers ability to challenge our kiddos and allow them to soar academically! Both of our kiddos are above grade level in reading and math.

The staff reinforces all of the Leadership habits in various situations. We love incorporating them into our home life!

I have mentioned to the Director personally some issues I saw and she directly and efficiently addressed the problem. Our kiddos came home and said that she had even chatted with all of the classes regarding respect for one another. Love that!

Can I turn it up to 11?! It’s defini been an 11 out of 10. We transferred from a private school in Clovis and have been blown away by the level of respect the staff has for parents and kiddos. Not to mention all of the amazing things the kids are doing starting in Kindergarten like public speaking, music, art and library!
