The Cobblestone community of teachers, staff, families, and students is amazing. They have cross country for 4th6th graders and a variety of after-school clubs, including math olympiads, chess, and reading/book clubs. The staff is stellar and deeply committed to supporting students academic, social, and emotional growth. Cobblestone is truly a one-of-a-kind school with a close-knit, neighborhood feel where families actually look out for one another. We see lots families walking their kids to school together and spending time together outside of school. The teachers and staff are passionate, caring, and dedicated to helping every student thrive. Weve had an exceptional experience in SPED as well. The teachers and staff are highly qualified, warm, supportive and make the students feel excited to come to school. Go Cougars!

Cobblestone has been our home since 2016. One of our children has gone through their entire elementary years here (TK-6). They are thriving academically, emotionally, has high confidence and genuinely loves the school. The same goes for my other children too. The teachers at Cobblestone truly care about each of their students. Our family cant recommend Cobblestone enough. Its the perfect little homey elementary school and anyone would be lucky to land here for their education.

This school is not really that safe. The play structure falling apart and a part of the play structure is rusting and sharp. The teaching is fine some mean teachers. Not alot of family members are allowed tho. Music is fun

This school has gone downhill fast. While there are still a handful of teachers and aids there who really have a passion and are truly there for the kids, the principal fails to protect the kids, nor does she hold her staff accountable for bullying children, or outright violating state issued health based learning plans. When concerns of teachers bullying are raised, they were completely ignored.
I've had multiple kids here over the last three yesrs and we are having to pull them out completely, away from their friends they've grown with, due to the neglect and toxic environment that's caused major anxiety and even DEPRESSION in our young children.

If you have a quiet child with high test scores and stellar behavior, this school is for you. If your kid acts silly or goofs off ever, hopefully you got a good teacher whom understands classroom management. Otherwise, you will get daily referrals to an overreactive principal whose goal is to ruin your childs self-esteem over petty things.

Too much is given to the middle grades

Its really hit or miss. Some are great and others are terrible. They wont let you change teachers so you are stuck with your random luck.

It tries but it fails, instead teaching that children arent allowed to have fun or be silly ever. My child has gone from loving school to hating it because of its strict punitive atmosphere. It claims to be a positive behavior intervention school but that is a joke as they dont follow it.

The principal is very dramatic and tries to ruin childrens self-esteem over ridiculous minor infractions.

We have enjoyed unique positive experiences with each and every teacher that my children have had. We've been through 4 different schools in various counties and 2 in Rocklin, we feel very much at home at Cobblestone and couldn't be happier.

2 of my 4 children have speech therapy and Rocklin Unified School District has been hands down the best at providing appropriate services to help them progress.

We love this school. We left then fought to get back. A small wonderful community.

We have been attending Cobblestone for four years and I have to say, we have had wonderful, supportive teachers. Our child had Mrs. Tara Hammond in 3rd grade and 5th grade and she has been great. Our child receives services and I cannot tell you how positive and supportive the staff has been. One teacher has been a huge advocate for our child and this means so much as a parent. The principal is amazing, so involved with the kids. She is equally involved with her staff and an active participant at school events. She is a great leader and we love her. Through volunteering I have the opportunity to witness the camaraderie the staff share and you can see they support each other and are dedicated to their school. Cobblestone may not be the new, fancy school but the heart and soul of the school is where the staff is and how they work together to accomplish their goals. Our child has flourished in this school and we are grateful for the wonderful teachers we have had the pleasure of working with, including Mrs. Tara Hammond. As a parent, she has been professional, receptive towards our needs and has listened to our concerns. Our child and his friends were excited to get her a second time when they reached 5th grade. I have only respect for Mrs. Tara Hammond and all the staff at Cobblestone Elementary School.

We have had positive relationships with all our teachers over the years and never had a bad or negative experience. Our children have loved their teachers and they have had positive influences over our kids. The principal included.

They hold assembly's to educate the children on their value system, it is noted in their handbook and reiterated throughout the school year through memos, reminders, assemblies, school events, etc.

The staff at Cobblestone is wonderful! It is a small community school that does wonderfully with the resources it has. There is a lot of parental involvement, which is encouraged and somewhat relied on with today's lack of funding for education. The principal is very involved with the students so they don't just see her when they are in trouble. My daughter is only in first grade but I have gotten to know several teachers, and when speaking with other parents I have yet to hear anything negative about any of the staff.

My son just started this year for kindergarten and so far we are very happy! He loves all of his teachers and they are all so dedicated to the children and their individual needs!
