My parents took my little brother to school for second grade. It was his first day in school. We were watching him from outside to get his food. He didn't know he was suppose to stay inside the cafeteria and not outside at the tables. The lady in charge of breakfast pulled him by his arm and yelled at him. She was doing this to other kids who were Hispanics. As well as the lady who work at the front office short hair. She is very arrogant and was rude and getting annoyed at the parents who had questions regarding their children. The principal and her were speaking in English thinking no one in the room were able to understand. I heard they were annoyed and talking bad about the parents.

This school has excellent staff members. The teachers are very nice. As i kid i loved this school, they taught me so much!

When my daughter first started at Miller I was very pleased with the school, but as time went on I started to hate it. The office staff and principle are unprofessional and rude and do not care for their students or parent. Some of the policies the principle has implemented are ridiculous and are not district policies. I did have great luck with both of her teachers while she was there, they really cared and helped my daughter to succeed. When my daughter started having problems in first grade and she was diagnosed with ADHD they did not offer any sort of help other than saying that they wanted her on medication, which wasn t mine or her doctor s first choice. Overall I was and am just very unsatisfied with this school which is the reason we switched her schools and we are both very happy with.

Miller school has been great for my kids, one in kinder and the other in state funded pre-school. Teachers are great, admin. is present and attentive to concerns. This year has been a great experience for my kids. Yes, there are many english language learners, presenting steep challenges for the teachers. My children speak english as their first language and i do not feel they underachieved because of the necessary attention paid to english leaners. In the long run they will be better prepared for the world in which we live because they had a multi-cultural experience in elementary school.

This school is very disappointing. School member's daughter is the principal. Weak English language program & the district has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on an ineffective English learning program
