Santa Rosa Technology Magnet School has been a wonderful experience for my children and our family. The staff and teachers are dedicated, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success, both academically and personally.
One of the things I appreciate most is the schools focus on creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The teachers do a great job balancing strong academic expectations with creativity and hands-on learning opportunities, which keeps students motivated and involved.
A huge advantage for our family has been the TK8 structure. Having multiple siblings on one campus creates a strong sense of connection and consistency, not only for the kids but for parents as well. It truly builds a family-like community that is hard to find at schools split by grade levels.
The middle school sports program is another highlight. It gives students the opportunity to be involved, build teamwork, and develop school pride at an important age. Its been a very positive experience and adds so much to the overall school culture.
I also cant say enough about the PTO, they are absolutely amazing. Their dedication, organization, and support for both students and staff make a noticeable difference on campus. From events to enrichment opportunities, they go above and beyond to create a vibrant and supportive school environment.
Communication from the school has been consistent, and Ive always felt comfortable reaching out with questions or concerns. There is a strong sense of community on campus, and its clear that staff care about building relationships with students and families.
Like any school, there are areas that can always continue to grow, but overall, I feel confident that my children are receiving a quality education in a supportive and connected environment. Im grateful to be part of the SRTMS community and truly appreciate the efforts of the entire community.

Weve had a wonderful experience so far at this school. Its small enough that it feels like a close community of families and that everyone has the kids best interests at heart. My daughter loves her teachers and the curriculum feels well paced. The principal is great - extremely responsive. There are lots of opportunities for involvement/volunteering.

I have had 2 children in Santa Rosa since Kindergarten and they are both in middle school now. With this total combined 15 years of experiences between them, and still counting, I can say that we have been blessed to be in this school! Achievement in academics, social emotional learning, inclusion, and computer aided learning is unparalleled to most comprehensive elementary and junior high schools. The leadership by a compassionate and dedicated principal is reflected in each and every motivated staff person who will go to any lengths to help all of their students to achieve to their maximum potential.

my child was bullied for so long and nobody did anything about it. Please do not make yours suffer like mine did by enrolling them to this school.

I live out of district. I used to live close by so my kid got to stay width proper documentation. I was relieved. Everyone from the principle to Mrs. Muiller (office) and everyone are great. Small and proud. Located in the middle
Of a lot of nature. No smog. Safe.
Academics are amazing. They offer daycare. Everyone knows my kids name!! I live this school.

SRTMS's elementary school is amazing. The teachers are great and the classroom sizes are just right. It's a little small but you grow old with your friends. The middle school however fails miserably. I was a straight A student and I went to high school and struggled. I hate to blame it on the middle school but truly it just isn't a good one. The students are overall nice but it's time for some new middle school teachers. When the principle doesn't send his own kids to the middle school but the elementary, that's a red flag.

This school is perfect for average students. It isn't designed for those who have gifts or are exceptional. Gifted students find themselves bored, frustrated and seeking alternatives. Having had 2 children attend SRTMS, my experience was adequate, not great. The teachers and principal are committed to their jobs however the skill level of the teachers vary greatly. From a technological stand point, if this is a technology magnet, we have a lot to be concerned about. This may be the best that the public school system has to offer which is why I moved my kids to private school. They can release incompetent teachers, have a more diverse program (including a real language and music program) and can meet the needs of gifted students. So sad for the truly bright students who are there through 8th grade.

I am absolutely disappointed with this school. My child attended about 1 1/2 and what not so smart decision we made when we decided to put my child in this school instead of her home school. They are rude (specially the older lady in the front office) who is never helpful, and it seems to rule everything including the over hyperactive Principal who is nothing but a yeller and self centered individual. Many parents are involved, some of them seem rule the school and get special treatment over other families (specially the ones with less money) from teachers and faculty. It was frustrating to talk to a teacher who never followed through with anything. I am so happy to have found a better school for my child, and I feel bad for those who are sold into the whole "rating" thing. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

My 3 children all attend - K-5 so far. They are excited to be going back to school, learn an amazing amount - not just subjects but character as well. The teachers are motivated, the parents involved and the Principal is seemingly everywhere at once. I'm shocked at the negative reviews here. We've had no negative experiences, and it's one of the top performing schools in the County (test scores). I have no doubt my children will be very well prepared for high school and for life. They are all off to a great start.
