Hanford Christian School

We have three children at this school and feel very blessed to have found such a great environment for all three. We have experienced Kindergarten through 5th grade at this point and have been blessed each year. Favorite things: dedicated staff who all love the Lord, small class sizes, lots of field trips, focus on service and giving, teachers and principle are always available, amazing academics with very high standards, and a central theme of spiritual growth! It is worth going to see and touring the lovely grounds!

Being a military family, our children have attended many different schools in the US. This school that has strong, consistent, caring & dedicated staff. The very welcoming 'family' of Hanford Christian has a strong support from the community & an active parent base. The teachers support each other with the well being of the child in mind. The academic level is well above CA public schools, most fld trips & away games are school bus driven & classrms have up to date technology. The students really do incorporate their lessons into daily life. We were very impressed with the extra time middle school teachers took to meet with us (during vacation) on a visit before our move. There are 19 denominations represented in the student body & the study of the Bible is more detailed than I had as a Catholic school student. I'm learning along with my children. Discipline of students is consistent throughout the staff during classroom & recess times. Of all the school's we have been a part of, this is the 1st school that parents & teachers do work together to prepare our children for high school and life in general. We're proud to be part of the HSC family & will miss it sorely when we move.
