My Goddaughter got assaulted at this school and the school has the audacity to say it was an isolated issue that happened. So no action was going to be made. This assault from the other student gave my Goddaughter a concussion and she had to stay home. The school didn't do nothing to that student who assaulted her. If my Goddaughter fights back and hurts the other child. I know it would be a a different outcome.

My child is coming home everyday complaing about being bullied and being hit. All the principal does is say she will talk to the kid...

If anything it seems like they encourage it. The principal has no control over the kids at all.

The teachers work hard as they possibly can to insure the best possible education is available to the children. I have two boys there and we love it. There are tons of fun after school things to do and it love awards assembly!

Vinland is not a good school because of some of the teachers there. My son is in first grade, our first year here and it hasn't been the most cheerful year at all. The teacher doesn't help him, even though she says she gets help with college students and what not. But he still comes home to me and asks me there are multiple times he feels she ignores him. I've spoken with the principal on that and to change him out of the class, nothing has happened over a month now. The other day, some kid almost got ran over by the stop lights on gettysburg and maple, I've informed a teacher who was standing outside with 5 other teachers, I asked her if there was anyone who can just sit out there by the cross walk to ensure the kids safety, she just replied, "well thats why we need more parent volunteers" and "oh yeah, it happens all the time..." I could tell she doesn't care. If there were a student there who did get run over, they wouldn't care, they'd still blame the parents for not "volunteering". So, think about this school before putting your child there.
