I have worked at Chartwell previously a few years ago. What an amazing school. There is not a better place for kids with learning disabilities. The staff is very well trained, and they have alot of experience working with challenged students. As a parent, I struggled to find a school that was good for my son who has extreme ADHD. I wish I had discovered Chartwell during that time. Chartwell Educators and faculty have the patience and experience educating children that have had difficulty being successful in Public Schools. Not only do they excell in educating students, they have also created an environment that many kids thrive in and enjoy! Many kids are excited to attend school, and look forward to school every day. These were students that previously hated public school and despised going. I highly recommend Chartwell.

Once I was at this school and a kid grabbed my arm and twisted it so much that it got sprained. I tell this to the teacher and they say okay I will talk to **** THEY NEVER DID! There is a no backpack policy, both me and my friend have hip problems we tell this to the teachers they dont believe us at all and have someone assess our hip problems even though I have had a professional podiatrist assess it before. There are teachers that wont let you use fidgets or draw even if you explain you need them to focus. If you dont feel safe near someone or you guys argued and arent talking. I have seen them put kids in the office for hours to talk about it or bond missing actual important information from class. At this point just dont pay the 48,000 dollars to go to this school and just homeschool or go to public.

My child's experience at Chartwell School has been nothing short of life changing. Their strengths-based model is what really sets them apart from other dyslexia schools. They help each child unlock their unique strengths. My son feels a sense of belonging he never experienced at other schools and his confidence and self-esteem has blossomed. Highly recommend to any family seeking a supportive environment for their neurodivergent child.

We placed our child to CW for specific academic needs for Dyslexia and ADHD even though high tuition of $40-45k per year. We are pleased by their effective teaching methods which pub schools could not provide.
However, their focus on Dyslexic and ADHD kids has shifted in recent years to accepting more challenging students with behavioral issues as the school tries to grow the school in size and increase its finances. The shift is also causing to sustain teachers, especially good ones. It is common for teachers to quit in the middle of the school year.
Unfortunately, bullying by students with behavioral issues is common and not effectively managed by the schools social emotional support program, causing students to leave the school for alternatives.

Maybe in another decade Chartwell will reclaim a reputation for an outstanding school, right now they are in too much transition to attract and retain the talent they need to be effective in what they aim to do.

Chartwell- Is amazing,it offer just what all public school do not for childeren which no not fit in the public pick to educate. They build true skill, confidence, and excell education. My Dyslexic son, severely suffer in public school for 5 year-was reading and writing only at 1-2 grade level. feeling there was just no hope, lower then low He always had IEP with no results in public.... we placed him in chartwell, the loving teachers changed his life- in just 2 year he was reading and writing in almost his own grade level, a light of confidence was in his eyes, lead in the pla, advocating for him self, big open windows, friends just like him... He knows how to use all the technology in the 20century avail to assist his needs.. This school for a child with Dyslexia is a pure dream. He and our family are relaxed now and enjoy family dinners,he is a independent learner, they only want to see what he can prod,as you know parents do not go to college. This chose you will not regret..
