I went to this school grades TK-10th (back when they had a highschool), and I could not have been happier. Now, my wife is the TK-K teacher and I have three children attending. 10/10 school! more people need to know about this fantastic place. Highly recommend :)

This school is like one big family. I went here for kindergarten through eighth grade and loved every year! Such an awesome place to group up, make friends, and learn not only about language, math, science, and history, but also about God and His love for His creation.

My daughter started St. Michael's Christian Academy in pre-kinder and is currently attending their pre-school. The staff and faculty provide a genuine community environment with each student's educational success as a top priority. The communication between parents and staff is excellent, teachers work with each student on a personal level with a learning styles to increase success, and the curriculum is outstanding. I recommend St. Michael's to anyone in the San Clemente area.

I was surprised to see the 1 star review and have to think it was an error - maybe a different St. Michaels?! I too am a single mother who works full time, and have a child attending this preschool. The teachers are fantastic! They're smiling and happy, nurturing and encouraging, compassionate, and supportive of both the children and parents. I am confident in their efforts and abilities to help build a strong foundation for my child's development, both academically and spiritually.

I have had 5 children go through all 8 grades of St. Michael's, and 3 more currently attending. Obviously we have great confidence in the school and great respect for the teachers and staff. All of our children have gone to a very academically challenging High school (after SMCA) where they are very successful, so I know the foundation of reading and writing and critical thinking that they get at St. Michaels prepares them well. Most importantly, the Christian world view that is woven into everything they are taught has helped prepare them to live Christian lives in a not so Christian society. The classrooms are small which affords plenty of time for the teachers to give individual attention to the children if needed, and affords a very "Family like" atmosphere for the students. It is quite evident that the teachers truly care about the children and see what they do each day as a calling as well as a profession. Finally it is the most affordable private school that we have found in all of Orange County and with our big family the multi student discount is extremely helpful. I highly recommend SMCA!!!

I am surprised by the good reviews, but then again, they are 3 years old. I am so very disappointed with this school. My child's preschool teacher is so sour faced and doesn't seem to like kids too much, let alone us parents. She talks down to me and I sense she has issues beyond the school and her job. I am a full-time working mommy and need a place that has before and after school care, and they do, but I am beginning the process of changing things because it just isn't worth it anymore to have my child there. I now have some behavior issues that I am dealing with that my child did not have before starting at this school, as well.

My child came from public school after 2nd grade. The small class size and individual attention have made learning so much fun for her. She often exclaims "I get it, mom. I get it". I used to feel I was home schooling everyday when she was doing homework. No longer. Indeed a great school.

The small class size has really helped my 5th grader gain confidence. The curriculum is challenging but they do not send an overwhelming amount of homework home which leaves more family time. Overall, I would highly recommend St. Michael's

As a former teacher and current parent of a 3rd grader and Pre-K, I can honestly say there are few schools like St. Michael's that emphasize academic excellence and sincere faith of their students. The "back to basics" approach in the elementary and middle schools eliminates all the fluff and swinging pendulum that tends to bog down other schools. To say that the teachers are dedicated to the development of each student is like saying that Chateaubriand is a good cut of meat. They are, and SO MUCH MORE.
