My daughter went to Zach Elementary from 1st-5th grade. She thrived academically and socially every year and we are confident she is fully prepared for middle school. The teachers were great at supporting her in achieving her full potential. She absolutely loves school and we can attribute that to her positive experiences while attending Zach.

We have been at this school for over 5 years (3 kids total), and we love it. The academics are great, the teachers are all amazing and go above and beyond for the kids, even difficult ones. We have absolutely no complaints. We have not seen bullying, although my daughter says that there is a kid or two that are mean to other kids. I think every school has a kid like this, but I have not heard of any serious bullying. There are plenty of extracurriculars as well. We have moved from the neighborhood but commute to this school about 20 minutes each way now. I think it says it all.

The amount of homework is appropriate for the grade level and reinforces daily lessons. Projects are assigned a few times per year and give students excellent experience in public speaking. Teachers are flexible in understanding extracurricular commitments and provide adequate time to complete assignments.

The teachers are absolutely amazing and truly care about their students. They see each student as an individual and want each and every one to succeed. The specials teachers are all excellent and integrate curriculum that supports the homeroom Core Knowledge curriculum. Best teachers ever!

Kindness and respect are prevalent throughout the school and the student body.

The teachers are wonderful because they have a strong, effective, and supportive administration backing them. Administrators visit classrooms and engage with students on a regular basis.

All students are viewed as individuals and receive learning plans/support designed to ensure development and success. Students are broken into groups based on ability and what they need. Everyone has an opportunity to improve their weaknesses and lead with their strengths.

I wouldn’t want my kids anywhere else. The administration, teachers, and students are all amazing. I’m so grateful my children attend this school and are able to benefit from it. They enjoy school and are enthusiastic to head out the door each day. Best decision we ever made!

Amazing school with amazing teachers. We have been here since Kindergarten and now on to Middle School. Beyond ready for it!

This school is wonderful and we are so happy we purchased a home in a neighborhood nearby Zach Elementary.

Not great , I expected more, my child is not perfect and so this is not the school for him.

By far one of the best elementary schools in Fort Collins. They go above and beyond to ensure your child has an amazing experience. Could not ask for better teachers or staff. Looking forward to the next level of schooling and very ready for it thanks to Zach.

We are new to the neighborhood and my 3rd grader and kindergartner were worried about leaving their old school. Within the first few days we all fell in love with the school and the education they are getting Zach is 100% better than what we got in Greeley. I recommend Zach to anyone especially the kindergarten teacher Mrs.Cey. I am so happy we have another four years at the school.

Zach was an amazing school! They had a wonderful GT program for my child and the principal there is leading the community well. All of the teachers were kind, understanding, and helpful, and the volunteering program allowed me to be thoroughly involved. I know that we made the correct decision and if you're looking at schools, by all means, stop here! It's truly a privilege to attend.

We school of choiced into Zach and it has been well worth the drive every day. The teachers challenge the students academically but I found they also know how to slow down when my child struggled. Once she regained her confidence and capabilities, they challenged her again. The teachers are quite creative in actively involving the students in learning so they "live" the knowledge instead of just listening or reading. They make learning fun for the whole child!! The parental involvement can at times be overwhelming but in a good way. If the school is open, you will see multiple parents supporting differentiated student groups, helping in work rooms cutting and pasting or running parent supported programs like book bowl. Bottom line - your child will thrive at Zach.
