This school was horrible for my first child and then even worse for my second. I made the decision to make sure that my kids would never be put in the situations they dealt with daily and moved them out of the school district. My only regret is not doing it sooner. There is maybe 1-2 teachers who are amazing and the rest are the kind of teachers that you know hate their job and may not even particularly like children. Half of them don't even know the curriculum and are often corrected by the students. They don't regularly schedule parent teacher conferences unless your child is failing all their classes. My child had two F's and they seemed very confused as to why I would request a conference and even acted offended that I did so, and all meetings I was met with hostility instead of concern for my child and wanting to help each other for the betterment of my child. The teachers and principal only care about the selected cool kids and could care less about anyone else. Most of them act like they are trying to re-live their Eaton glory days in the forties-fifties! New school has been a game changer, my child was depressed and lost all hope in ever liking school and that has completely changed. Read previous reviews they all say the same. Keep your kids away from this school.

I was bullied for my OCD here . I received NO support from any counselors or staff members. I am not extremely popular, but I get picked on by the popular kids from even existing. There are fights almost every other day. Nobody cares about the consequences of their actions. I am transferring from this school after a VERY long 1 1/2 years . Please never let your kids go here

This school is pretty awful. There is a lot of judgment here, and if your not popular then your a nobody, that is a outsider. The teachers favorite students, and don't give everyone a equal chance. Mrs.Duncan is awesome though, to bad she won't be with me once I leave. DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL EVER

Mrs Duncan is an amazing addition to the school. She added a motherly touch but yet still makes sure the students take ownership. Her communication with the students is awesome. They trust her and respect her. Kudos Mrs Duncan!

I am a 7th grader here at Eaton Middle School and I must say this school is very impressive. The teachers help out in many ways and they provide so much for students to move on to the next grade level of education. I would recommend the parents to transfer all of their children to this middle school. Even though great-schools rates it an 8 out of 10, the staff and school board makes it feel like its easily rated 10/10. I look forward to graduating in this school district at Eaton High School and remembering how proud I was to go here.

I went to his school, and I am in a new town now. I was in the district for about 5 years, 1st grade though 6th grade. In 4th through 6th, I couldn't help but notice the high amount of predjudice and favoritism that was in the school. I felt a little scared to go to school. I felt that if I did somthing wong, people would make fun of me. And when I admitted that I liked Hannah Montana in 4th grade, I was teased for a year. The teachers I noticed, almost favorited ther students, the ons that sat at the crowded tables, the ones who played vollyball and basketbal and ere good at everythng. Some teachers were different and loved everyone.
