This school has been exceptional for my two children. One of my children was in the gifted and talented program at Bauder (99% for literacy) and through their time at Bauder also increased their scores on CMAS for math by fifteen percent (going from 81st in 3rd to 96 in 5th)! They ended up also being identified GT for math in 5th grade after growing tremendously. This was huge for entering into middle school.
My other child was a struggling learner and reader in first grade. They needed additional support, which Bauder provided, and they went from being in the low 20's on testing to scoring well into the 80th percentile on MAPS and CMAS now that they are in 4th grade. The teachers at Bauder are kind, committed to the kids and great at teaching. We have been so happy with our experience! There is also strong parental involvement at Bauder with an exceptional PTO. We have a lot of fun doing activities with our neighbors and feel so thrilled with our choice.

My autistic son and I moved to Fort Collins from eastern Colorado specifically for a better school experience for him. I can't speak highly enough about Bauder and its staff; my son has thrived, made friends, and learned to navigate socially and academically. It has been a fantastic two years and can't express enough gratitude to all who work there. They genuinely care about the kids and work hard every day to make their experience a positive one. I can only hope that middle school will be just as great for him. Thank you, Bauder!

This is my daughter's 4th school so far and he is by far the BEST principal she's had. He's engaged with the children, parents and staff and it shows.

Our daughter came to Bauder this year, we moved long after we could think about or apply for choice schools, so she went to her local school and I'm SO GLAD she did. I've see her confidence grow and really enjoyed seeing her thrive in this wonderful school. Her love of reading has exploded here and there's never been a day where she doesn't want to go to school. We are so lucky she has one more year here.

Kids only get homework if they did not complete assignments in class. They also have some optional work they can do at home, with the main focus being on reading.

My son and daughter attend Bauder and I've been very impressed with the education they're getting. The staff is great- always extremely helpful and caring. I love the school wide free breakfast- brilliant!

The teachers are truely there for the kids. They go above and beyond the the students each and everyday! Next year we will have a smaller school that will close down and merge in with out students. This closure came from the staff up- because it was best for the students. Teachers and staff will be lost, but they understood this risk and accepted the challange! Next year Bauder will be bigger, stronger and more diverse. We are lucky to have Bauder be out Neighboorhood school!
