This school caused me to have extreme Trauma any time I go to a new school I feel the same way as I did in this craphole this school does nothing but encourage school fights and the teachers do nothing other than sit on their butts all day.I got bullied so bad that I was depressed because of it.The students and staff say they are going to help but do nothing about the fact that students are crying due to this school.I hope this message goes to the school counselor principal assistant principal and any other staff on sight.Don’t you dare call me back or my mother I hope this message wakes this school district up.And actually get teachers that have a bachelor’s degree.

That your child gets bullied and th whole school administration does nothing to stop it has nothing to do with bad parenting a parent that stands up and advocate for their child getting bullied doesnt make them a bad parent..
This school has a bad reputation when it comes to handle bullying ,harassment and verbal abuse they do nothing....

I have been dealing with this school for several years so I have first hand experience. I even went here when I was a child. I have made several complaints to the principle and other staff members about my child being bullied. The bullying still continues. My other child who is now in high school was getting bullied as well and the principle, counselors and teachers did nothing to stop it.

The teachers at Kelly Middle School are below average. They are not outstanding. From the teachers my kids have had do nothing to stop the bullying and harassment from other students.

The school staff have failed my children. I have 1 child that had attended Kelly Middle School and 1 other child who is currently attending Kelly. I am worried about my other 2 children who will have to go to this school in the upcoming years. Bullying is a huge problem in the school and there are children who have done self harm because of the bullying. Children should not have to feel that there is no other options. The counselors act like it is not a big deal but when they get notified when a student is in the hospital or dead then they may feel they should have done something more.

It’s amazing if you’re one of the popular kids. If you stand out in a different way. If you’re quirky and weird, you will get bullied. Even over stupid stuff like the shoes you wear.

I have friends that are constantly being bullied. All the teachers don’t do anything. They would tell the bully to stop. And they tell the kid getting picked on to ignore it.

This school is terrible! I attend this school currently (Feb 2017) in 7th grade and have been bullied a lot and the teachers do nothing to stop it. The kids are out of control and all the teachers do is give them a "lunch detention" which means they have to sit in a different seat next time at lunch. It stops nothing! Most student are rude! The teachers are so rude also! Even the lunch ladies are rude! Before Kelly Middle School, I had all A's and B's. Now its C's and D's. You cant even wear jeans for picture day at all in Norwich! Which is stupid because you should be able to make your kid look how ever you want them to look on picture day. I do not recommend this school at all!

I have been bullied all this year and i continue to be bullied. The teachers know and do nothing about it! You could even be physically bullied and the teachers don't give any punishment

Caring teachers? Kids making out in science class. Teachers ridiculing disabled students? That's carrying? Faculty not following federally mandated laws.... A principal and vice principal who don't attend ppt meetings, faculty lying at ppts to the point it was necessary to tape the meetings..... Teachers UN prepared for meetings. Oh, I was involved, very involved. The faculty was callous, disinterested, burnt out. Students were out of control. It was azio. I wouldn't send my kids to a Norwich school again ever. Our current school said, and I wrote, "the Norwich schools certainly didn't do your children any favors" My review was not only fair. It was spot on accurate.

Kelly really is not as bad as people make this school out to be. Most of the negative reviews are from parents and students who just gave up and wouldn't put the necessary effort into their own educations. Great administration, great facility, but poor parenting. You can't fault the school for that.

This last comment is not fair. You get out what you put in. That's true for every school and life itself. There are very caring, hard-working teachers and staff at this school.

DESPITE negative reviews, and normal school flaws, this school is good. The teachers DO care. They DO care about these students. There are some kids with no respect, who bully, and swear, like other schools. This school is good. Mr. Peckrul is a good principal too.

This school is horrible I went there for 6th and 7th grade. 6th grade was ok but when I got to 7th grade i wanted to get outta there quickly I was bullied all of 7th grade. My father was so irritated we finally had to move.

This place is an absolute zoo. Special education is sketchy at best. Teachers are unprepared for PET's. Right hand NEVER knows what the left hand is doing. Teachers are demoralized and just don't care. If I had the $$ I'd move OR send the kids to private school. Run as fast as you can to another school district!!!
