My son is in 1st grade and attended kindergarten at Global Learning and we both absolutely love and adore all of the staff! Everyone here is very kind and supportive for the families and students.

I have worked at Global Learning Academy for several years, and can attest to the fact that the children are thriving now even more than ever. Classroom lessons are well-planned and expertly taught. Small groups provide support and remediation throughout the building. Administration shows compassion and an expectation of excellence for students as well as for staff, making GLA a rewarding, fulfilling, safe place to work. I encourage prospective families to take Mrs. Pierce up on her offer to come in for a tour.

I can't say enough great things about this school ;there is not enough time and space. From the moment we walked in ,we felt the warmth and dedication of every teacher and staff member. The principal at GLA is phenomenal. She leads with compassion, vision, and an unwavering commitment to every student's success. Not only does Mrs. Pierce foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment , but she also ensures that parents and teachers are always in the loop. My son has made remarkable strides at GLA. He has an awesome compassionate teacher who works sooo diligently to get the best out of him through outstanding parent and teacher communication. My child loves to go to school everyday!! He feels safe, loved , and appreciated!!! This makes me feel soooooo happy as a mom!!

I highly recommend Global Learning Academy! This PreK5 school truly feels like a family. The teachers care deeply about the students and go above and beyond to help every child succeed. They create a positive, encouraging environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

The staff communicates well with families and always makes parents feel welcome and involved. The principal and teachers are dedicated, hardworking, and focused on helping each child grow both academically and socially.

Global Learning Academy is a place where students are valued, challenged, and celebrated. We are so thankful to be part of such a caring and supportive school community!

I love the learning atmosphere the administration, teachers, and staff provide for the students at Global Learning Academy. My sons have attended the prek program and the teachers are amazing. The principal works hard to make sure families feel included in the learning outcomes of students.

I am in my second year of teaching VPK at Global Learning Academy. Since starting, I have found my admin and the staff I work with to be very supportive. I have worked from some very difficult principals and Global Learning Academy is nothing like that. I have enjoyed every year I work for Global and am excited to continue providing education at the highest level. I have personally seen many families that have great things to say about Global. They are so happy with how the staff goes above and beyond to serve their students everyday. The safety protocols that Global has put in place are there to keep the kids safe. Global does a great job at providing students what they need. They are frequently letting parents know about opportunities for their family. One example of this is the Thanksgiving Feast that is done every year. Before Global, I had never seen this level of community in an elementary school. I would recommend Global to any family who is looking for dedicated staff that will love on your children.

Being part of a cultural exchange program from the Philippines has been both exciting and overwhelming. Moving to a new state was not easy,but Global Learning Academy became my second home. They gave me the support, strength, and courage I needed to grow and believe in myself. Everyone at Global is truly amazing, and I am forever grateful to be part of such an amazing team. I have worked at several schools in Escambia County, and Global is one of my favorites! Administration and support personnel work hard to make sure students and teachers are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. Teachers know their students well and advocate for them with their expertise and their passion. The school as a whole supports a culture of community that includes staff, students, and their families.

This is the most welcoming, respectful, and professional school community Ive ever been lucky to be a part of. As a teacher at Global, I can say with confidence that our school always puts the students first. Every decision and every action taken is there to better serve the students. The teachers truly care about their students; their safety, their education, families, and their overall well being! All staff at GLA, including classroom teachers, administrators, special area teachers, custodians, kitchen staff, RTI teachers, teacher assistants, volunteers, and any other adult who is involved in our school community, does it for the students! This school has went so far above and beyond for my child. They do everything in their power to make sure my child has any and everything he may need to be successful and thrive. While we recently saw feedback that doesn't reflect the true heart of our school, I want to take a moment to clarify our commitment to our families.

Our Military Families
As a Purple Star school, we dont just hold the title; we live it. Our guidance team is specifically trained to support the unique transitions of military life. This mission is deeply personal to me: as the sister and mother-in-law of United States Marines, and as a leader to many faculty and staff who are veterans, I am committed to ensuring our service members and their children feel seen, honored, and supported from day one.

Safety as a Foundation
We maintain firm safety protocols, including our visitor policies, backpack guidelines, and car rider procedures. While these may seem strict, they are designed with one goal: the absolute security of our students and staff. We believe that a focused, secure environmentfree from unnecessary distractions during critical times like dismissalallows our students to thrive in our science labs, greenhouse, and arts programs.

DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!! Unless you're interested in mean girl atmosphere!
We are a military family who was new to this area entirely. The school boasts a purple star status yet offers no resources or staff designated for this status. The school is set up like a prison. If you want to see your child at school, you are only allowed to go in the lunch room at their designated lunch shift, nowhere else and at no other times. Even after going through the security check at the office. Students aren't allowed backpacks....unless you're in Pre-K, or Kindergarten, or in 4th and 5th grade sometimes....or the wind blows a different direction. The principal has some major control issues, exhibited by the fact that when asking her to please point out a supposed rule to me in any kind of official documentation (including the school's website, handbook, etc) and she told me rules don't have to be written down and laughed in my face. Before we moved from our previous duty station, the school had made all kinds of promises to us regarding our child's education. But after having them in the school 75% of the school year, there's been almost zero follow through.

The classrooms at Global Learning Academy are bright and cheerful. The school itself is beaming with positivity. It feels as if you are walking in a mall or downtown Pensacola. The school grounds are well kept and the staff is friendly.

I have two children at this school. My home unfortunately falls well below the poverty line, yet my children are thriving here! We lost their step father last year during the summer, and the level of care and support the school gave was phenomenal. The teachers truly care about your children, as if they were their own! They try to make sure every student truly understands the material, going well far and above expectations anyone should have. I'm grateful to have found this school. My children were not doing well in our zoned school, and attend gla through the school choice program. I love this school and all of the staff!!!

I've taught and have worked in different positions at this school for 5 years. I know firsthand how hard the faculty at this school works. The administration works tirelessly to increase family involvement. We hosted curbside pick up during COVID. Our principal has gone out of her way to create an environment where students, families, and teachers feel heard and respected. I am currently taking a leave of absence but will return for my 6th year in 24. If my grandson lived closer I would have him come to this school. Test scores never tell the whole picture. Our school will offer you a tour during school hours to see just how much work is being done. Proud to be a part of Team Global.

I am the current principal of this school and would happily and confidently place my own grandsons at Global Learning Academy if they lived in town. We are a free Pre-K through 5th grade public school, fully staffed with certified teachers. 59% of our faculty has been on staff more than eight years. In K-5, we only have 1 first year teacher and she is doing a great job! We are a school working hard to meet every individual student's needs and we are all human, so we aren't perfect but we sure are trying to be!

I have two sons who are currently attending this school. The principal, vice principal, and staff are working their butts off to create a more caring, friendly, and educational environment. As long as they keep showing me all their positive intentions, I would gladly recommend this school for any child.

There is no support from administration, the teachers that have been at this school more than a year enjoy having low expectations and little teaching experience. The students at this school have terrible behaviors with no consequences and teachers that deal with the behaviors are looked down upon as if its their fault. There are numerous teachers that have bogus titles which allow them to roam around and do nothing instead of assist teachers or run iss. 20 new teachers had to be hired this school year and admin will have the same on their hands next year because their is no support for staff and no consequences for students. Classes have disproportionate numbers of behavior problems and new and inexperienced teachers are expected to be successful with what they are given. If you are considering this place for employment or to send your student run away now!

This school is amazing from the building, technology, excellent teachers, dedicated staff, and great administration! Every grade focuses on a different continent. At the end of 5th grade, your child will truly know about the world!

This school is terrible. My daughter has been bullied and discriminated against. The administration is a joke. They WILL NOT return phone calls or answer the phones more than half the time during school hours. I do like my daughters teachers but get the impression that their opinions, ideas, or issues fall on deaf ears. My daughter WILL NOT attend this sorry excuse for a school next year.

I have a son who has gone to this school for two years. And this school is only two years old. They do have some bully issues, but that is something the parents should control. Teachers can only do so much. It all starts with home-training. I have personally had great experiences with both teachers my son has had. And I have only had good experiences with all the other staff as well. Now on the other hand, I do believe they need more teachers.

I just had a bad experience with this child care facility. I get off work to pick up my baby. He has a big knot on his head. There was no incident report file and no one in the daycare facility knew what happen. This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. The co-workers are not professional. They don't care about nothing but a paycheck. They have cameras but it still did not change anyone.

I agreed with the first comment about the best technology but not the teachers, nor the staff This school was a worst nightmare ever. The teachers don't care and don't know how to deal with the kids. If something happens they will always call you, even small issues. They just want you to bring your kid home. My child is being bully many times there. The teacher didn't even care and didn't even know how to deal or help my child. The school ranking's D of last year. I've 2 kids attending to this school. I'll take him out of this school and take them to Private school. If you're interested to this school. Please be aware of what's gonna happen to your child.
