I go here,i have watched this school go from bad to worse over 4 years.
The teachers that engaged and roped in kids and made them want to learn have been mistreated and mishandled to the point most of them have left. they are absolutely right for doing that as well imo,the administration is absolute garbage.
speaking of administration,they are terrible with the students. they dont listen to us AT ALL,they have added steel security gates,fences,and barb wire and turned the school into a prison. they have also on multiple occasions lined kids on the wall for k9 units to sniff us (k9 units that suck btw, they ripped open my bag for almonds and didnt even clean it up after).
seriously DO.NOT. send your kids here. west Nassau isnt that bad

This school has taken a lot of time to help my stepdaughter who has several learning issues and several medical problems. They have taken the time to understand what her needs are and to meet her on her level instead of setting her up for failure. She is doing wonderfully in this school and I would highly recommend it!

My son has had a wonderful experience at this school! We moved here from Georgia two years ago and his grades have improved substantially. He recently joined the football team and is having a great time! Thank you HMSH!

We have recently moved into the district, and were very pleased with the faculty and their collective approach towards academics. We have seen positive results in both of our children's grades as a result. Hats off to these folks for their dedication and time spent with our kids.
