If your kid has an IEP, dont come here. Ive heard from the lady once (maybe twice at most this year) about my child.
We updated our address at end of year, now my kid has no way of getting to school for the last week because the bus wont allow her on it anymore.

If you have a kid with special needs, I recommend sending them somewhere else. They have a serious bullying problem. the kids have very bad mouths.the teachers do not care and they do not monitor even with an IEP. my son is being harassed on a constant basis with no care from the staff. Send your kids somewhere besides here.

Great!!!! My son is a 6th grader and he has transitioned well. His teachers/oacheshave been very supportive and encourage academia and responsibility. So glad we made.the choice to enroll him at Meigs

My son is in the 6th grade here and he loves it! The staff has been very supportive and are available to meet with me any time I request. Great school in my opinion.

We are also a military family and there is NO support! This admins show favoritism to athletes and allow bullying. If you can help it don't send your kids here. Teachers get annoyed if you attempt meetings because they leave promptly at 2:20. Also not buying the A+ rating. Who rates these schools anyway? My child is begging not to attend this year. The other review is point on!

It is my opinion that this is not the best school, it rates low on my chart. We are a military family who transitioned to this school and unfortunately we came for GREAT to WORSE! This is a good old boy club/school if you did not come from this community you will not be successful. It is awful in its understanding of the military community. If you have a child with special needs I would not recommend this school because they have no understanding on how to deal with it. This county talks about mentoring but when requested my child never received. Parents are not welcome in this school and they do not utilize parent/volunteers. The teachers are unhelpful, unwelcoming, and I don't buy into the A+ system that they are selling. I have been disappointed in the school.
