This school's interpreter Gemma Gomez Pallares publicly threatens to call ICE on people for immigration status. She's an immigrant herself, and works with immigrant children. She's a safety threat to the students and families at this school.

This is the worst public school in Okaloosa trying to charge a child with battery and expelling them just for flinging water off there hands. This is unreal. There desire to ruin a childs future over something so petty.. should the child be punished absolutely but this is going too far.

When it comes to bullying, the school doesnt really do anything to stop it. Sure, they say We will punish the ones who bully in a acceptable manner but they never really do. I wont deny that some teachers/ staff actually care for you but there is also the bad apples in our school. Personally for me I had a really bad teacher that unfortunately gave my classroom some trauma, he is also a very popular teacher, so, no matter what we say, we will not be heard. They also have a really bad underage drug problem. I once have been offered it at school before but I said no. Sadly, the school hasnt caught on. They only really care about looking more presentable to other people and barely care Goethe students. There are good apples, but there are just as many bad apples.

Two years ago the school was under different leadership and the high achieving students were better prepared for the rigors of high school advanced courses. As usual, the leadership has changed, the current Principal used to be an Assistant Principal at the neighboring high school and she was hated by the students. I think that speaks volumes for her leadership style. Currently this school is not equipped with classes that prepare the advance students for high school instead it is overflowing with classes for students that perform below average academically. The current leadership staff, specifically the Principal as well as the Assistant Principal in charge of discipline, are bad news. The leadership of Pryor Middle School is too busy trying to clear their name rather than do what is right involving students or do what is best for the student. The welfare of the student is not a priority of the leadership. Take a good look at what happened to the child at Kenwood Elementary because the leadership at Pryor is showing scary similarities.

My daughter has been going for 2 years and she has become a completely different person. I can hardly recognize her. We have been reaching out for help at the school. They talk to the persons doing this and basically say nicely you better stop. That's the end of it with no checking up on it until she's bullied again then same conversation repeats.

Pryor Middle is a great middle school for academics in Okaloosa County. My children have attended Pryor. There is an award winning music program, fantastic sports program, outstanding faculty, and additional clubs for student involvement in the Pryor Middle community. There are many advantages of going to Pryor, one of the BEST advantages is the close proximity to Choctawhatchee. There is an option available for students to take an early morning class for high school credit, right across the street.

Avoid this school like the plague. I have NEVER been so unhappy with any of the schools my children have attended, this school is the exception. Office staff continuously "lost" paperwork and there are most definitely teachers here who should not be teaching AT ALL.

This school is not professional at all. They do not know who to handle bullying cases and the staff has a problem with bullyng kids also. Children have a hard enough time dealing with other mean kids why on Earth would you employ someone like this in your school?

Pryor is an excellent school. My child has attended since 2011 and I have been very satisfied with her education there. The teachers and administative staff are very dedicated to helping students excel academically and helping them prepare for high school and college.

Two of my kids are going there now and I am not happy with that school. They don't get enough food at lunch and a lot of the teachers are alwaysin a bad mood. I am going to transfer them to another school.
