My 3 kids have never had an issue at Bruner. The staff is kind and helpful.

My child attends Bruner and has had a wonderful experience. She speaks highly of her teachers and enjoys being involved in various sports and clubs the school offers. Obviously there is an adjustment period going from elementary to middle school but the staff at Bruner is supporting her through it. Very positive experience for us!

As far as my daughters experience in that school I have no problems but she doesn't have any disabilities. Bruner is such a bad choice when you have a child with disabilities. My son was diagnosed with a few things and I made sure I handed in the diagnosis, to assure them that I'm trying to work with them..A few weeks later I was asked to school under false pretenses and the next thing I knew my son was kicked out of school. Bruner has no understanding nor the patience for children with disabilities. Getting an IEP is impossible. The assistant principal has no business being there. My son has disabilities and she tells me he shouldn't be around general population. Wow

I don't know how to put this but I will be blunt. If you are white yes they do but if you have some color in you...Your child will be the one going to ISS and detention.

There is no compassion at all. My son's diagnosis comes from being in a coma for 2 days and the brainswelling has caused a few other things and the school just doesn't care. Why? Because it's not their kid.

There are a few teachers there who are great and care but if you have a principal and other minions who don't care, it makes it hard for those teachers.

Our school is Bruner Middle School. As parents, we found it hard to determine how our son was doing in school. The on line grade system was only as good as the teachers using them and overall the on line system was lacking. Gradin was always late to the point it was not effective. We then went back to a notebook signing system by his teachers to monitor his assignments and it didnt work much better. The pricipal was very nice and helped us, but we never had a warm fuzzy exactly what was going on. If you have a child that needs close supervion/mgt, recomend staying very close to his teachers and utilizing the principal early on to keep your kid on the right track.
