The school grade is a B. They have a pre-engineering class where they can get a certification and a high school credit.

King was really good for my kiddo who attended 2 years. We switched him out of a private school because he needed to have advanced classes. They offered Beta club, honors classes, high school culinary arts with high school credit, and he was on a quiz bowl team that went to Nationals. I was very happy with his growth.

Teachers do not communicate with the parents. I realize a lot of parents do not get involved but some of us do care and want to be involved.
My grandchildren go to this school and theirs no control of students bullying and misbehaving. My grandchildren get pushed around, her lunch takin from her and shes in been smacked by another child for not giving them her food.
School bus line gets out of control with a few students who like to push kids down and bully them. I worry every day about my grandchildren going to school

Both my children finished at King Middle in the summer. One of my children is an ESE student. The teachers made sure they met his accommodations and that he was successful. My other child excelled at King doing many activities that enriched her education such as: ITV, year book, SGA, and Beta club. Even though Covid made things hard the school did their best to have events for the students. The reviews that are based on test scores are so wrong. King Middle school is fantastic with very caring teachers.

This school is great. Lots of electives to choose from and the teachers hold students to high standards. Sometimes this is a bad thing but so far it's been a great experience.

This school has no accountability when it comes to the safety and protection of students or the students property. My oldest child went there, and we had no problems, we also had nothing to brag about, now that my middle child, and youngest attend this school, it is a nightmare. My son id constantly bullied. It has gotten so bad that my son doesn't want to go to school, because he is constantly ridiculed and beat up. The bus driver says unless I hear or see it I can't do anything. The principal says I will take care of it, yet it continues day in and day out. His older sister now handles all the little bullies on the bus. Just be prepared for FALSE and EMPTY promises.
