As a current student, they really haven't taught me that much. They are excellent at teaching disabled kids, but gifted kids often get neglected. The teachers are too strict for my liking. We get five minutes off of lunch if we talk, and our lunch is very short. We also have to write 50 times "I will not talk in class when not appropriate and I will whisper when it is" if we talk.

I love this school they have taught me so many life skills that I can use not just at a desk job but in day to day life.

Sacred Heart is above & beyond when it comes to academics! My daughter has been going there for about 3yrs & has maintained straight As all 3yrs. The principal is very caring & attentive. She knows my child's name & is constantly inquiring about her well being as well as that of my youngest daughter, who is not yet attending the school. She is always available to discuss any issues of concern. I see her almost every morning & afternoon at carline. The teachers are top notch, as well. They are friendly & accommodating to the children's needs. The students DO NOT have the privileged & entitled attitude seen in many private schools. They are extremely well mannered & considerate to all who enter their school. Parent involvement is welcome and very much encouraged. The fundraisers are not your boring ideas(wrapping paper & popcorn) but things like raffle tickets & our famous PUMPKIN RUN, which benefit the school, the parents & the students! My daughter has significantly grow in her Catholic faith while attending SHCS. It takes a village to raise a child. Your child's school is an important part. I can't imagine a better community in which to raise my girls in.

Sacred Heart Cathedral School is a fantastic school. My children love the overall experience. They look forward to attending school and learning. The Principal is professional and truly cares about the overall well being of the students and faculty. She is prepared, organized, fair, accountable, accessible, and has a clear vision for the school. She is also up-to-date on the latest curriculum, national standards, and teaching methods. She has increased technology in all grade levels, and she makes sure that children and teachers have the necessary tools to be successful. More importantly, she has added a deeper understanding and commitment to Christian teachings and values. The students and faculty gather each day with a morning prayer, and it sets a calming, positive tone for the day. The faculty is very experienced and works hard to make sure the students are learning in innovative ways. This school is special in that it is very welcoming to all. It s not pretentious. In my opinion, it is the best school in Pensacola.

This school was good and we were happy here but then we got a new principal. i am glad my family is moving this summer. the new principal does what appeals to the parents/staff but then has to back track quite often. extremely disorganized and doesn't stand the ground that is expected of a principal.mstaff is nice and dedicated but things have changed.
