As a former student, former teacher and current parent of this school, I cannot express how wonderful this school is! When I attended it gave me the skills and abilities to be able to be in all honors classes when I went to high school. As a teacher, the staff is wonderful and very loving to the students that attend. And finally, as a parent, I am so proud that my child is a student there. She loves it! We are so happy with the education she is receiving along with the Christian aspect of the school. Could not be happier!

My son has attended Redeemer for 5 years and I am so glad that we decided to enroll him here. The class sizes are small, the teachers know every student, not just their own and it really seems like a family. We plan on keeping him here through Middle School so that he has a strong foundation in Christ before he enters high school.

While they're a few great teachers at Redeemer, many choose to gossip and keep drama throughout the school. By acting this way, they are pushing out great staff and student families. These teachers act like they are in high school instead of worrying about teaching academics!

You can't expect to build strong character among the students when the bad apples of the school (being the teachers and staff) are setting their examples.

The leadership in this school is weak. The principal is very nice but he is soft and allows the front office as well as the teachers causing problems to run the school. It's very sad. This school was a great school at one time and now it needs to clean house.

Depending on the teachers, there will be support. But if your child has issues brought to your attention, don't expect the school to do much to help like the public schools do. You are on your own!

Bullying is an issue at this school. Nothing is done about it. You go to the office, given hugs and candy, even if you are the bully, then sent back to class.

My child no longer attends this school. I was in love with this school until an upper elementary teacher was brought in and then it seemed the entire atmosphere of the school changed. That is when gossiping and drama started that involves some individuals who teach and work in other areas of the school to change. With behaviors such as this, I didn't want my child in a small environment that seemed to bring on hate. Side note: my child never was treated unfairly nor was he/she one to get into trouble. You could just see and feel the difference in the school and they change in their education.

My students have graduated from RLS and are now in high school. The studies and home work that they received at Redeemer Lutheran has prepared them to be highly successful in high school.

Redeemer Lutheran has many good teachers. My daughter is a visual learner but my son is a more hands on learner. The teachers did their best to accommodate all types of learning.

Each teacher has a different teaching style and that taught my children different attributes. My kids learned to be efficient with their time, kind to others, responsible for their actions, confidence to express themselves, and how to speak to and with adults.

Communication with the school is wide open. If a problem arises you can easily meet with with a teacher and/or the principal.

My daughter was slow to start reading and they were able to give her one on one reading help multiple times a week. Later on during her time at Redeemer she excelled in Math and they were able to provide a small group setting for those students that were above grade level in their math skills. RLS did a great job of accommodating those that fell behind as well as those that excelled in academics.

In both of my students classes bullying was not an issue. The students were held to high moral standard and for most part the students met or exceeded those standards.

I absolutely loved this school. My kids went from K5-8th grade. The christian environment was essential into making my children who they are today. They started their day with the pledge of allegiance every day, they attended chapel every week, and read their bibles at school. They learned to work with all different styles of teaching and study beside all different kinds of kids from different backgrounds. They received a high education that prepared them for honors and AP classes in high school. If I had to do it over again, I would still chose Redeemer Lutheran for my child’s education.

The staff will tell you what you want to hear but will do nothing to stop the bullying that is going on within the school.

They do not promote any positive qualities a student could take with them into their next experience

Everyone is out for themselves and do not show any type of leadership quality at all.

A child with a learning disability either falls through the cracks or fails the subject due to the lack of response the staff has in helping a struggling student.

They do not provide enough homework for the student to have a good grasp on the subject.

The teachers yell at the students, show favouritism among the students. Do not teach the students, they are either on their phone or computer doing non teaching related searches.

I wouldn’t send my child to this school. The education they receive for the money you pay isn’t worth it!! You are better off attending another private school or public school that has their act together and can give a child a foundation for future learning later in life.

I love this school! My children went to Redeemer, and now I am thrilled that my granddaughter is attending. The teachers are caring, loving and effective. I am a preschool director and always recommend Redeemer to any new parents. You really couldn't ask for better people to teach your child.

I have had a child in this school for the past 12 years and will continue to have the rest of my children for another 8 years. The school has always been responsive to my needs and supported my children when they had difficult times. I feel the school is improving upon the already great experience with new policies and technology. I am extremely happy with this school and their amazing staff.

I’m very impressed with the 2nd grade curriculum at Redeemer Lutheran. The program is pushing the children outside there comfort zone and getting the kids to think outside the norm.

My son has been attending Redeemer Lutheran School since VKP and he is in 2nd grade. Over the past four years, I’ve seen my son grow and learn. It’s amazing to watch process to watch. We are a military family and having a sense of community is very important to my husband and I. Redeemer has far exceeded any of our expectations. My son has a very spirited and the teachers at Redeemer have help foster that quality.

Redeemer has a very, well thought out disciplinary program. It is clearly presented, and does not tolerate bullying. The teachers and staff are invested in making Redeemer a safe learning environment.

My child has been at Redeemer Lutheran school since K-4. He is now in the 8th Grade. We are trilled with the quality education my son has received. Redeemer offers a caring, Christian environment with strong academics. My son continues to score in the top 10% nationally on his achievement test. Redeemer also offers sports programs (football, basketball and volleyball). The teachers are wonderful. It has been a great fit for my family. My only regret is they do not have a high school.

This is a wonderful school. My son is in the 4th grade and has been here since K-5. The teachers are involved and passionate about teaching and the parent involvement is unbelievable. Their dedication is unlike anything I've ever seen in a school. This is a private school with an affordable tuition which gives parents who are limited on their budget an option. My son loves to go to school, is developing ongoing friendships and is getting a top notch education.
