My kids have been attending CCA for a couple of years now and the teachers have been nothing short of amazing. The entire staff has been caring compassionate and welcoming. I do wish the class sizes were smaller. However, I do understand the demand with everyone pulling kids out of public schools.

The faculty care about the children and do their best to help them succeed! I love this school and the teachers!

This was a horrible experience for my child. Laws were broken, rights were violated, and discrimination is present. This school does not represent the body of Christ and has no fruit,educational experience, and no capability to develop a well rounded student body. I went against my spiritual discernment to enroll my child there and the best thing that came from this experience was the lesson of how NOT to represent ourselves as Christians. I am susrprised they are apart of the educational system.

This school promotes division. I have never experienced such a judgemental and negative environment. There is no indication of compassion, patience, or integrity from the staff, or teachers. Blind leading the blind

Although this school accepted my child on the Autism scale and received scholarship funds.they did not follow my childs IEP, did not provide accommodations that were required and Did not follow Regulations inder IDEA. This was a horrible and disheartening experience.to say.the least

This school used mckay funds and finacially benefited off of my childs disability while not providing proper accomadations, care, or support..

As a past student, my experience was terrible. Considering this was a small private Christian school with not very many students, the teachers should have been able to personally come to the aid of the students whether that be academically or emotionally. The academics were placed over the spiritual aspect in the student's life as well, therefore many of the students exhibited behaviors you would see in any other school. Even when I reached out to teachers whether that be about my academics or my personal life, the teachers didn't take much care to it. My parents also personally discussed my struggles in the school with the head principal, and they made no effort to reach out. I never felt welcomed in the school either, and if I were to have my own daughter, I would not want her to have the same experience that I did in this private Christian school.

When one pays a tuition for a private school, one expects that they would provide something "more" than the public schools, such as SMALLER class sizes, experienced teachers, stronger academics, and extra circulars.

My daughter went to Calvary for 3 years, Kindergarten through 2nd grade. By 2nd grade, there were no less than 27 children in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades to ONE teacher - with ONE AIDE for the whole school.

Add a brand new, fresh out of college teacher to a 2nd grade classroom of 30 children and no matter how strong the curriculum we purchased, our daughter (who went on the A Honor Roll the next year) had problems with school.

The worse part, the Administration refused to discuss the issues and then at the end of the year, outright lied to the parents by saying that they would not have more than 24 students (the state law is NMT 18 kids per classroom) per class without a full time aide. Guess how many kids were in the 4th grade class the next year, without a full time aide?

It seems to me, that the Administration and the Church are more interested in taking in the State Scholarships than actually educating the children.

I am not surprised by the number of people who withdrew their children and even new parents who have already found new school for the next year.

I do know that my daughter is now thriving at her new school.

Graduate from over 30 years ago. ( Back when named Fort Walton Christian School) The life lessons learned, the academics taught, and the compassion and love of the teachers more than prepared me for a successful life. If I lived in the area still my children would have gone here.

Our school is a great beginning for little minds. Your children will learn so many things. Both of my children started in our Preschool and it helped them get the phonics base that made them great readers and spellers. We are staffed with people who love what we do and the children who come here. All of our teachers have been here for over 10 years. If you want your children to learn something and be with people who care about them not just baby sit them than this is the school for you.

At Calvary Christian Preschool, our caring and committed teachers understand that small children have a natural curiosity for learning. We use the A Beka curriculum which incorporates a strong phonics base, and is designed to give a sound academic beginning for their years of learning ahead. Daily lessons are planned to meet each child s spiritual, academic, and social needs. Weekly and monthly theme activities provide enrichment and fun. The children also enjoy music, art, Bible, numbers, writing, and fun at playtime with their friends. The children attend special chapel programs during the year. We also provide a summer camp for the parents during the summer.
