I'm a parent and an alumnus. It is just as good as always. Everyone cares, from the staff to the parents. It's an amazing group of people all around. It's the best preschool/school in the Panhandle.

Absolutely wonderful school! My daughters both went here, and I could not have asked for a better start to their education. The teachers are the perfect blend of nurturing and firm, and my daughters thrived under their care. They also have such an amazing ability to read children, and to understand what they need academically and emotionally. We were so thankful to find this wonderful school, and so sad when we had to move out of the area. Cannot recommend this school and these wonderful educators enough!

We absolutely love the Montessori Learning Center for our 4 year old daughter. The teachers are so loving and caring. They allow each child to thrive at their own time and own way. The academic curriculum has allowed my daughter to learn well beyond years. Because of the small class size the teachers are able to devote more one on one time to each student. We highly recommend Montessori!

As a grandmother who is very interested in her grandson's education as well as being a former primary and pre-school educator with the highest regard for the Montessori approach to education, I highly recommend Montessori Learning Center of FWB to anyone looking for the best education possible for their young child.

My grandson, who is in his second year of pre-school there, has become an enthusiastic and passionate learner who is eager to share his knowledge and applies it to situations both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to having a mastery of academic skills well beyond his years, he has a great relationship with his teachers and classmates, is a very self-confident child but best of all, finds school to be a joyful experience.

I am grateful to the Montessori Learning Center staff for creating an environment that allowed this to happen.

Overall great school!!! We were a Montessori family before my 3 y/o started at MLC. While this school doesn't strictly ascribe to all the elements of the Montessori method, it's a wonderful blend of Montessori and traditional education. Both my children started as 3 y/o's. The MLC has been a wonderful environment for them develop their cognitive, social-emotional, and fine and gross motor skills. They love their classmates, teachers, and learning. I love the physical space, which is in St. Simon's Episcopal Church located steps away from the beautiful Emerald Coast sound. Who doesn't love a waterview playground. I also love the small school community. All the parents know all the kids and the other parents. It's a community within a community! We love Montessori Learning Center. Our two daughters are currently attending and when our son gets older we will send him here as well.

The class sizes are small. The teachers are incredibly experienced and have been with the school for a long time.

They teach a wide breadth of topics: art, music, geography and science (my youngest can't stop talking about the experiments) and of course the classics: math and reading.

Social skills and life skills are also an important part of the curriculum (my girls now sweep up their own crumbs after breakfast. Thank you Montessori!).

There is a good relationship between the parents and the teachers. Parents are involved. Teachers will reach out and send a photo of your child at work/play or a 'how is it going' message when your child is home sick. These personal touches underscore the holistic approach of the school.

All in all I highly recommend this school. We could not have wished for a better start for our children's school career.

Montessori Learning Center is by far the best preschool/Kindergarten in the area! The teachers are caring and compassionate. They make learning exciting and fresh everyday. It's a truly amazing place!

My oldest child went to kindergarten at this school and flourished immensely. She is now a top performer in her class at her new school. My youngest daughter is currently enrolled and we have seen great success in her social skills and in what she is learning. Not only have my children learned to take pride and ownership in their work, but they are also more aware of the impact their actions have on those around them. They are mastering skills that I imagined would be for older grades, but since it is presented in a way they can understand- they are really able to understand these concepts. The teachers have invested themselves completely into seeing each and every student succeed, and it shows by the quality of the education the children receive. I wish I could rate them at 10 stars because there is no way to convey how fantastic this school it. Take a tour, and then register them. You do NOT want to miss out on the opportunity for your kids to go here.

Both of my children attend the Montessori Learning Center and we have been very pleased with the education and care our children have received. Our son has been there since he was three and will finish Kindergarten this year. He is already a strong reader and they have him doing addition and subtraction.

The school has great experienced teachers, involved parents and small class sizes and i highly recommend the school.
