We come from another state where they didnt really care about the kids. Here they do and its so refreshing. The teachers are better and have so much patience. Just seems over all they take a better approach to running the school.

My daughters whole experience there was great! I can honestly say ALL her teachers were great!! She is in middle school now and I still go to KES to drop off stuff to teachers who really impacted her life; such as Michelle Davis. The school nurse Ms. Sheppard was awesome!(daughter has respiratory issues) Principal, office staff AND janitorial stuff are always pleasant, very positive and upbeat!!!!

I had 2 kids an a nephew go through this school within or over 10 years plus now... Each one having different struggles or different situations, good or bad, at the end of the day, they was accommodated to which ever way needed or not... I have seen this school grow and implement a lot of new and good into the school which reflects on the students. I have experienced between the 3 different kids pretty much everything on all different ends.... Was I always happy with their decisions or reactions no, was it logical and the child still succeed and accomplish what we all expect at the end of the year... YES! Just like anywhere you go, it depends on the situation and as long as the school stats prove that our children are excelling all our expectations... That tells me they are doing their job despite given bumps in the road.

KES has been absolutely amazing for my kids. Especially my son who is special needs. They have always been so helpful, honest, considerate, kind, communicate, and just amazing. If I ever have a question I know it will be answered. If I ever have an issue it has been handled in a timely manner. Overall KES is an amazing school. The SPED program is absolutely fantastic. Mrs. Burkett and Ms. Sullivan are phenomenal.

The teachers are rude. They're always targeting my son. Basically thinking everything is his fault. The teachers have no patience. They are all about putting children. medicine. That's the teachers way of doing it. My son will go to DLR next school year. My son has learning disabilities and the school doesn't care and they don't give him time or one on one teaching. Because of this my son is failing. Really!?! This school is crap. My son shouldn't be failing. The teachers dont care and dont have patience to help. Its all about calling me every other day. If you can avoid this school!
Posted: March 7, 2017
They blame it on one student. Once again they don't care. They are lazy.
Posted: March 7, 2017
NO THEY DON'T!! It's all about putting kids on medication. They don't care about the disabilities. My son has disabilities. I took my son off meds. He doesn't need them. He needs one on one. I teach him everyday. They have no excuse they are rude and lazy and failing my son. They need to get patience and teach him.

This school doesn't teach. They are lazy and dont care about the student.
Posted: March 7, 2017
They are rude. They can't teach. They will not do one on one with my son. Knowing he has learning disabilities. He's failing 3rd grade. I teach my son everyday. All the teachers do is call and complain.
Posted: March 7, 2017
The teachers are rude and have no patience. They want children on meds including my son. In my opinion that's there easy way out. They don't teach they say open your chrome book. My son is failing 3rd grade. I work with my son everyday and he is failing. It's because they don't listen to me or other parents with children like mine they always have an excuse

Kingsland Elementary School has a staff full of helpful people who go above and beyond their duties on a daily basis. The staff is more like a family instead of fellow employees. My children have not only received a wonderful education but they have been truly loved by these people. I wish every child could be as blessed as mine have been by receiving such a wonderful elementary school experience.

My kids went to Kingsland Elementary and I pulled them out. They wanted my son on meds. and they never tell you if your child gets hurt and recently they had a Lice out break and didn't tell parents about it. The teachers are rude and you would be lucky if you child learns anything!

I've had only bad experiences with this school. I have a son in special education with autism. The speech teacher couldn't find no way to make him walk to her class so she had him walking up and down the halls on his knees on a hard dirty tile floor! My wife had a conference with the principal and he said he didn't see a problem with it. My wife had to ask him would you walk on a floor on your knees? My little girl is in kindergarden and she is shy and instead of trying to get her out of her shell the teacher says my girl needs to go to speech twice a week, my little girl can talk better than me! Also, we just had a parent teacher conference they said my sons test scores was high enough to go to kindergarden but they didn't recommend it due to his lack of communication skills, so why his speech teacher cut his speech time instead of increasing it? Enough is enough I'm taking my kids out of this school ASAP!
