The faculty and staff at SMES are dedicated to the highest academic achievement. They strive to provide the best for all 700 students. The school is beautiful! It is new!! You can tell the teachers love what they do! The kids are excited about coming to school every day!

I have had 3 children go through SMES, and they have all had a good experience and learned well. Students have a variety of clubs and activities to choose from. I have always felt welcome to visit, volunteer, eat lunch, and communicate with teachers. Teacher quality has ranged from good to great, and there has never been a problem I couldn't resolve. The new building and playground are really beautiful, and there are tremendous resources available to all learners, the struggling as well as the excelling.

Just because this school is newly rebuilt. Smes Is horrible. i have two kids enrolled now since 1st grade. and two more to come.. I say run as far as you can from this school. The administation isnt welcoming, and your never informed of whats going on from day to day with your childs education. It seem to me they're tryin out new teachers yearly and I believe if you are new to the area, you and your child will get lost within the system, Because everyone knows one another here and my personal opinion thats who they cater to and care, and Ive been living here 3yrs now with Honor Students....

This school has been completely unorganized from the beginning. Parents received absolutely no information before school began. Nothing about open house, school calendar, lunch menu and prices, pick up procedures, or dress code. Parents and students were clueless the first week. The principal is not very friendly. The only contact from the school seems to be fund raising flyers. The school doesn't seem very worried about the children. It's more cold hearted, fend for yourself than what I want for my children. Not at all what you would expect from such a sweet little town. Very disappointing!
