This is a great school for anyone who wants to learn or be great in their future, but when it comes to showing compassion and letting people grow into how they want to be and present themselves, this school has a real problem. Not only that, this school is so old-fashioned that it actually breaks my heart. Only recently were girls allowed to wear leggings, and only recently were they allowed to wear shorts. If you’re from anywhere now in this region of Georgia or have ever visited this part of Georgia, you know it’s always hot and it barely ever gets cold, so wouldn’t you want to wear shorts and breathable clothes? Students wake up from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. every school morning and expect to be in class by 7:25, and they are let out at 2:25. From 6:30 AM this school’s rules are enforced. Students cannot hold their phones. Students aren’t allowed to listen to music. Students can’t do anything but just be there. They’re there sometimes from 15 minutes to 30 whole minutes, so even 45 minutes before time that school actually starts, and they are just expected to walk around as if they’re robots in One Direction or sit in a cafeteria for the people who are being loud and obnoxious. There may be tensions from the day before or the night before; it’s early in the morning, and they don’t want to be there. Nobody wants to get up at the crack of dawn to come to a place with hostile undertones. So you would imagine that everything will be harmonious. Students will be allowed to just have their moments in peace before they have to sit for a whole eight hours under strict rules, but no, that is not the case this morning. I witness two teachers put on a yelling at this girl for absolutely no reason. I won’t say it was for absolutely no reason, but to me, it just seems to be too much to be doing early in the morning. The student had her shirt tucked into a bra, but I didn’t see any skin. She was trying to put down her bag, and she had her phone in her hand for a solid 45 minutes, maybe even shorter than that. The student was being bullied and yelled at by two grown adults at 7 in the morning. I can understand the whole shirt thing, but I cannot understand why she was being fully yelled at by two adults early in the morning about placing down her bag and having her phone in her hand. It wasn’t like she was on it. She was simply holding it, and she was being screamed at by two grown adults above the age of 30, by the way. The school’s faculty need a serious check-up.

We come from another state where they didn’t really care about the kids. Here they do and it’s so refreshing. The teachers are better and have so much patience. Just seems over all they take a better approach to running the school.

Not very high. With 3 children who have either graduated or still in the school system in Camden, I am extremely disappointed at the lack of compassion and caring to the students.
Quick to deal with a situation with no best interest to the student. No answers to calls to the school after repeatedly trying to communicate.
I will be very happy when none of my children have to get education from this county and city.

No communication from school regarding your child. They give a false blanket of transparency and openness with parents.
Availability to discuss issues is non-existent

The best in Georgia. My daughter had an outstanding experience at CCHS, and as a parent I could see the difference it made. I received regular feedback from all of her teachers and she and I are both angry the military made us move. This is a school that is top notch. Highly recommended!

I attended and my children attended here . The administration is a joke. Student could careless for the most part about respect of their teachers and academics. Dump credit recovery. If you are an athlete in season you can get away with weapons in your vehicle and drugs in your book bag. The average student is gone. The principal thinks with his online degree he is the smartest thing since sliced bread. He will not listen to advice from his staff or parents. It is not all about football as we saw last year with a 2-7 team.

Camden County High School does not care about your daughters. My freshman year, I was violently harassed by a boy in my grade, when I reached out to administration, they made minimal effort to ensure this harassment ended. It did not. However, administration declared me, a 14 year old girl at the time, a harlot for wearing a tank top in 98 degree heat.

Camden County HS is an excellent school with many programs for students to excel in many subjects and programs that will prepare them for college, military and life challenges. Submitted by a grandparent.

Camden County High is an excellent school. They expect you to academically achieve and they don't take excuses. They treat the students as young adults and they are afforded Honors/AP classes to excel. I am honored that my child attends CCHS. As having one graduated and one attending, I couldn't be happier with the program. If you or your child works hard they will do very well here.

Camden County High School as a lot of different career like class. It's a HUGE school, but you get used to it after awhile. The Teachers are okay, I'm not gonna lie, there are some teachers that show students no respect at all. A down side to this school, is that there is a lot of profanity and some of the students are very judgmental & there are A LOT of fights. But, all in all, Its a good school and I'm very happy to be a student here. (:

i'm at Saint Marys Middle right now and I can't wait to go to this school next year!My 9th grade friends have told me so many great things about this school, i'm SOOO ready to get to this school and it isn't even the 2nd semester for me yet!

I attended this school myself and could not stand it. I have to agree if it is not about the football players and cheerleaders it doesnt matter. Teachers and staff are rude and disrespectful to the students and parents. I refuse to let my children attend this school.
