Amazing school! The lady at the front office is a bit rude. She doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk into the school. She doesn’t say anything actually. She seems very standoffish.

This school is amazing.. My son started in 2nd and is now in 5th! We have had wonderful teachers and the staff is wonderful... They will go above and beyond for you. Now my youngest is in K and we love it even more. They open the doors for us parents and we feel involved! And he needed a little extra help and they have gone above and beyond for him! We will miss this school when we move I sure hope the next school is just as good but I doubt it!

My son started this school in Pre-K, and is now in Kindergarten. I absolutely love it. The teachers have always been easy to communicate with. They have very high standards, and those standards not only helped my son learn to read, but also enter the accelerated reader program. The teachers and staff have always made sure to make their expectations known as well, and as a parent, I find that helpful. The school itself is very clean, well taken care of, and is a very welcoming type of learning environment. My son loves it. The staff in general is also very friendly and respectful, and I appreciate that they know who I am and who my son is. Also, if we've had to send another family member to pick up my son, they don't just release him. They've made sure to check IDs and the list we provided of approved people allowed to pick him up. Overall, it's a pleasant environment to be in, and as a parent, I enjoy going to school activities. My only (minor) complaint is regarding the school policy that does not allow siblings in the building. As a stay at home mom, it makes it harder to volunteer and attend class parties.

This is a great school. My son just finished 1st grade here and my daughter finished pre-k. They both loved their teachers and have enjoyed their school year. My son also attended pre-k and kindergarten here as well. We've never had a problem here. The staff is great!

Great school if you have a typical child. If your child is anywhere in the ASD I would look elsewhere! We are a military family who moved here to be close to the base, had we known all of the problems we would have trying to get our child the services he needs at school, we would have moved 3 miles down the road to FL. I love the teachers, the new principal is great too, they all really care about the kids and it shows. I just wish they had the funding they needed to get a good special ed program in place.

This school claims to be the best in the area, yet really needs to reconsider only striving to providefor it's athletes. If your child is in gifted, or needs to be- there are only 2 teachers for the NINE elementary schools and it takes a YEAR to be tested to put into the program because the school won't dole out responsibility of the tests. In addition, the schools in Camden County receive money for (each of) the majority of the student body, since it consists of enlisted dependent's children. (Military area/base) Yet claim there is "no budget" for the gifted program. If there is no budget, then why are there 20 something football coaches employed at the HS? The HS football students have their own nutritionist & are bussed to & from practices. BUT, there are only TWO gifted teachers for 9 schools. Does that sound off to anyone else? The schools seems to me to be shuffling their feet, providing free breakfast to the entire county, cutting money where it shouldn't be cut from. If you send your child to any of the Camden County Public Schools, beware of this problem beforehand. I wish I would've known, we'd have moved to FL instead... There are also no field trips at this school.
