Both of my boys are attending. I feel the school has been fair and anytime Ive called theyve been helpful. Most teachers are incredible and are willing to work with you.

This is a good school with, for the most part, caring teachers. The staff is very approachable and understanding.

This is a bad school. Homeschool. Please, parents, if you value your children's education even a little bit, don't make them go to this place.

This is a small somewhat rural town with a high turn-over with a military base being near by. They have increased communication but remember it is a two-way street. There are a lot of complaints that are not brought to the administration. I feel the administration is approachable and parents must do a better job at telling the principals changes they would like to see. There are amazing teachers in this school that really care about your children. The first step is to be involved in your child's education. Go to the school meet your child's counselor, ours was amazing! They do their best to accommodate the kids with varying levels of education. Yes, there are not a ton of AP classes but you can attend Uof I or BSU for classes if you have accelerated beyond what they offer. We especially appreciate their German program.

Very disappointed in this school. I had high hopes being that it was a small community, but students still get lost and forgotten.

Reviewing schools, noticed this one hasn't been updated in a while, so wanted to put an updated review. We are military, I know how important it is moving your kids around to see what schools are like and what to expect. My daughter entered 9th grade this year, we are not happy with MHHS. Communication between parents, kids, and staff are lacking. She has a few teachers (2/7) that really care and go out of their way to make sure the kids understand. The majority of the teachers do not. The school spirit is terrible. There is no structure, all grades can come and go as they want, they all eat lunch at the same time, therefore there are kids everywhere in the halls, outside, around town. Their dress code is dress for success, they leave it up to the kids to determine what that means, but say they will step in if the clothing is really inappropriate but I have not seen that happen. On more than one occasion while in or near the school I have seen kids acting inappropriate with the opposite sex and have seen teachers just walk by.There needs to be more parent involvement, teachers/staff who care and teach them how to act in society not be their friends.
