We are just trying to get thru this last year. Can not wait to be done with this school. They are just over paid babysitters. Kids can not shine in this atmosphere. Good Luck!!

They dont do homework. You dont know what your child is learning or not until it is too late.

Teachers and duties are rude to the students and talk about them negatively freely in front of students. And then they wonder why they kids are rude. If you treat a child like they are nothing they act like it.

They dont know the meaning of the word respect. Please, Thank you, excuse me, your welcome are words that go a long way in teaching respect. The teachers and duties dont use these words and they sure dont require them of the students. Such an easy fix but they are clueless.

Vice Principal is wonderful. The Principal is a waste of tax payers money. The only thing she is good for is holding down her chair.

The girls in general are mean and get away with it. I have heard of parents pulling their kids and homeschooling because of it.

Round up students like sheep and shove their liberal ideas and agenda down the throats of the students. No homework, no tests, no quizzes or textbooks. Notes are to be taken as facts from the opinions of mentors, not teachers.

The teachers are what make or break a school. My child has been fortunate to be placed with great teachers. They assessed her math skills and put her in a more challenging setting. She gets enrichment through their wonderful GT program. It is a rural school so your options might not be the same as larger counties, but if you communicate (kindly) with the staff, they will work with you so that your child gets the most out of their classes.

The teachers are the BEST! They care about their students and their community. They go above and beyond every day to make sure their students have the best education possible.

The school staff have absolutely no respect for the students unless they are a child or children of the staff or are favorites. Bullying is witnessed by teachers and nothing is done to stop or help the students who are being bullied. Instead they are mocked and laughed at. The total lack of empathy from the principal and staff towards the students that are being bullied in the form of verbal abuse, physical harm, and sexism is unbelievable.

This has got to be one of the worst schools in the history of schools. The bullying is completely out of control. My child has been cursed at, called horrible names, and hit by other students. The teachers witness the bullying and do nothing about it. The teachers mock the students and laugh at them if a mistake has been made. The staff at the front office are rude, disrespectful and lack empathy. Hacker middle school is not worthy of being called a school at all.

Hacker has been one of the most frustrating schools to deal with. My daughter has been failing most of her tests in Math and has not received any type of help. Why, you may ask. It is not for the lack of us requesting the help it is the lack of Idaho providing the necessary help that she needs. Don't fail Idaho? Ha! Good luck because if you cannot help the kids that are struggling within your school districts then Idaho itself is failing. I can't wait to get my kids to a school where they will actually get the help they need.

I went here for one year in 1999, and based on what I've seen it's still a horrible place to go. The teachers are cruel and antagonistic, and no one does anything about the bullies. If you can avoid it, don't send your child here.

This school sends the message out that it is ok to be bullied. My child has been the victim several times. At this school it is ok to start a fight but don't get caught defending yourself. You get in more trouble trying to defend yourself than you do starting the fight. So glad my youngest child will not be attending this school!!
